Armelle wiped her tears away and made her way next door to have breakfast with her family.
She was anxious to tell him, but she wanted to do it in private.
"Mommy, come on!" She picked up her son and joined her family at the dining table.
The smell of the food made her nauseous, but she kept a smile on her face.
Tobias saw right through it. He's known his wife all of his life, so he knew when she wasn't alright.
"What's wrong?" She shook her head and cleared her throat before picking up her glass of orange juice.
"You sure, Melly? You're looking kind of pale." She nodded and continued to stare at the glass.
Tobias rubbed her back and kissed her cheek as she sat the glass back down.
"I'm gonna go lie down. I'm not feeling good." She stood up and walked out of the dining room quickly.
She heard little feet behind her and she looked down with a small smile.
"Baby, what are you doing?" She picked up Titus and kissed his cheek before going upstairs to her husband's old room.
"Mommy, are you okay?" She nodded at him and sighed as she got comfortable in bed.
Titus rested his head on her chest and closed his eyes as she rubbed his back.
A knock on the door startled her and it opened, revealing a worried Tobias.
"Baby, are you okay? You don't look too good." He sat on the bed and kissed her forehead.
"I feel nauseous. I just needed to lie down." Titus started to whine as she moved over for Tobias.
Tobias gave him a look, making him immediately stop throwing his temper tantrum. Armelle high fived her husband and Titus got of bed.
"Where you going, little man?" He adorably rubbed his face and pointed to the door, raising his eyebrows.
"Grandma's making me a cake!" Armelle smiled at her son and he ran out while giggling.
"Babe, what are we gonna do with our children?" He laughed and kissed her while rolling on top of her.
"Tobias John Harris, your parents are downstairs! I'm not about to do this. If you're a good boy, maybe you'll get some tonight." She laughed softly and kissed him before resting her head on his chest.
The only thought in her mind was the life growing in her stomach.
"Tobi, I have something to tell you." He nodded and rubbed her back slowly with a smile.
"I'm-" The door opened and Eileen walked in with her eyebrows raised.
"Can we talk?" Armelle nodded and got out of bed to follow her mother to the bathroom.
"If you're just gonna say I told you so, save it." Eileen smiled and hugged her daughter tightly, repeatedly kissing her forehead.
"Have you told him?" She shook her head and Eileen eyes got wide.
"Tell him! This is his child. Unless you're trying to hide something." Armelle looked at her feet and shook her head again, making Eileen feel a certain way.
"Are you alright?" Armelle nodded and exhaled softly before fainting.

"Mommy, wake up!" Armelle's eyes opened and she groaned before sitting up.
Tabitha squealed softly and repeatedly kissed her cheek, making Armelle smile instantly.
"Jesus. You're finally up." Tesia, Tobias' oldest sister, sat on the bed and hugged Armelle.
"It's so good to see you. It's been too long." Tabitha smiled and joined the hug before giving her mother a kiss.
"You're having a baby!?" Armelle looked at Tesia in shock and she returned the look.
"Where did you hear that?" Tabitha played in her mother's hair and shrugged with a soft smile.
"I heard grandma Eileen and daddy talking about you."
