"Grandma Eileen?" Tabitha nodded at her mother and smiled again before walking to the door.

"Yeah, mommy. She said something about you and something's eating her alive, whatever that means. Daddy was upset with her for some reason. He walked out of the room all fast and he said he's getting tired of her. That's all I heard." Tesia scoffed at her and Tabitha looked at her in confusion.

"What? I'm telling the truth, aunt Tes!" Armelle shook her head and ran her hands through her hair.

"I've told you about eavesdropping, little girl. I'm telling your daddy." Tabitha started to pout and sighed before leaving the room.

"Armelle. Talk to me." She sighed and looked at Tesia with tears in her eyes.

"I can't tell you. You're not gonna forgive me." She started crying and Tesia hugged her tightly.

"Armelle, you're my sister. I'm not gonna leave. No matter what."

At that moment, she knew she had to tell her.

"I cheated on Tobias." She looked down at her hands and sighed as Tesia's grip tightened around her.

"Melly. I don't know what to say." Armelle shook her head and wiped her tears away as Tesia tried to comfort her.

"I'm sorry, Mel. I love you. I still love you. No matter what, you'll always be my sister." They shared a tight hug and Armelle couldn't help but to smile.

Tesia had such a forgiving heart, much like Tobias. Armelle just hoped he would have a similar reaction.

"My brother isn't gonna leave you, if that's what you're thinking. It'll be a cold day in hell, honey. He can't live without you." They laughed and Armelle nodded before standing up with her sister-in-law.

"Go talk to him. I'm sure he's worried about you unless big mouth Tabitha told him you're okay." With a smile, she walked out of the door.

Immediately, she spotted Titus at the top of the staircase.

"Sweetheart, come here." He walked over to his mother and she kneeled down in front of him with a soft smile.

"What's wrong? You look sad." He hugged her and started crying, making her pick him up.

"Baby, what's wrong?" He buried his face in her shoulder as she rubbed his back to sooth him.

She kissed the side of his head multiple times before walking downstairs.

"There you are, Melly. Are you okay?" She nodded and let her mother-in-law feel her forehead.

"Tobias is in the backyard with Torrel. You want me to take him?" Titus reluctantly let go of his mother and Armelle made her way to the back door.

The second she stepped outside, she sat an upset Tobias sitting in silence with his father.

"Can I talk to you, Tobias?" She nervously bit her bottom lip as he looked up at her.

Torrel got up and kissed her forehead before going back inside.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She sat next to him and he kept his eyes on the ground.

"I was going to. I just wanted to tell you in private." He nodded and closed his eyes with a sigh.

"Are you okay? You scared me, Mel." She nodded and reached for his hands, bringing them up to her lips.

She kissed them repeatedly before getting up to sit on his lap.

"You're pregnant, baby. This is incredible. My baby is having a baby." She smiled and he kissed her cheek before burying his face into her neck.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and laughed as he kissed her neck.

"I'm glad I came." He gave her a look and she immediately rolled her eyes playfully.

"Dang it, boy. Get your head out of the gutter." She finally kissed his lips before getting up.

"Everybody should be here by now, babe. And you need to eat." She nodded at her husband and followed him inside.
