Watching you grow up
And become this beautiful
Independent little girl
One day you will no longer
Want me to help you out
With anything that you do
You already want to do
Most things by yourself
What will I do when
You are actually able
To do it on your own
And not even need a
Little bit of assistance
From mommy at all
Before I know it
You will be in school
And making your own
Friends and not need
Mommy to play with
You as much or at all
Since you will have
Friends your own age
To play and hang out with
