Why can't I get it right?
All I need is for it to happen just once
I pretend that it doesn't bother me
But hearing all those people talk about
How happy they are
Makes me realize that I
Am dreaming to have what they
Have and sometimes don't
Appreciate how lucky
They truly are
Cause some people can't find
That special someone
Who loves them no matter what?
And that will do anything to
Make sure that you are happy
And not just pretending
I just wish that I was as
Lucky as they were
Even if it is just for a minute
At least then I will know what
It's like to really be loved
