How can you let someone in
When so many before
Have hurt you
Will they be able to get
Passed all the road blocks
You set around your heart
Will you ever be able
To believe them
When you heard other wise
For so many years
Could you fake believing them
But then how long will that last
They will find out the truth
Sooner or later
But how can one
Make any difference
For at least hundreds
