If I could be anything in the world
It would have to be a teddy bear
Because I wouldn't have to worry
About getting my heart broken
I would always be happy
I would be able to make
A little boy or girl happy
Because they could tell me their
Problems and I would keep it a secret
I would have a painted twinkle in my eye
And a smile would be permittly on my face
I would have no problem of my own
Being a teddy bear would be so much better
I would be able to go through life
Without a care
If I had a string that made
Me say "Hi! I'm Teddy ain't it a lovely day?"
Then I know every time I spoke the words were right
I wish I was a Teddy Bear
