Leveling

At the East Field, wild boars were everywhere. Many players were out here too, getting gold, XP, and items. I equip my swords and swing them around a little. "Niiiiiice" I say and look at my random ability. "Dual flurry" I say smiling. I charge it up and run at a boar, letting the ability go. The swords go blindingly fast, cutting at the boar four times a second for two seconds. The boar charges me, and I jump to the side, cutting it. Tapping on an icon above the dead body, it shows what I got. "30 gold coins, 200 XP" I say and smile. Nice. Wait, where's the boar hide? I think, not seeing it. Well, it must be a random item drop thing. "I need the XP anyway" I say and see a person about to die, failing to dodge the boar's tusks. I run over and stab it, then cut it twice. "27 gold coins, 200 XP, boar hide, minor healing potion" is what I get this time.
"You alright?" I ask the person, lending them my hand.
"Yeah, thanks man..." He stands up using me as a crutch "ow..." I get an idea and open my inventory, then click on the minor healing potion. I click on his character then select "give". He gets the item and quickly drinks it, his health rising.
"your a life saver, dude! What's your name?" He asks. I smile.
"Yuri. Yours?"
"Kaanan. Two a's at the beginning. Want to join my party?" He asks. I think it over. "Why not?" I tell him and get an invite. I select yes, and words fill the area in front of me "joined Kaanan's party!" I begin to walk away "all right, let's look for more boars" he follows. "Have you seen your stats yet?" He asks. "Ooh! No, I haven't thought of that" I open my the menu and click on my STATS.

"That's nice. Beginner stats. But, because of my weapon and armor options, they are different from others..." I say, thinking. Then, while I was occupied, a boar charges me and stabs my legs. "SHIT" I yell and fall over, 10 health taken away. Regaining my balance, I slash at it but miss. I dodge by rolling away. "Dual Flurry" I say, the ability charging up. I release it as the boar comes close, it being cut eight times. Then, after stabbing it twice more, it falls over and dies. "28 gold, 200 XP, boar hide" I smile. Then another screen pops up. "Congratulations, you have leveled up to level two. Please choose which stat you want to improve and find a trainer to train you one skill" it reads. I go through the stats.

Defense: 17+
Then choose to upgrade health. "Woohooooo!" I yell, excited. "My first level up!" I look at Kaanan. "Hey, Ima go back to town to complete a quest" he nods "later" and goes to the next boar. I run to the town, getting to the quest board quickly. I tap on it, opening it, then I tap on "complete quest". "Minor healing potion 5x. 750 XP. 300 gold. Then the level up screen appears again. "Yeah, I'm on a rollllll" I say and this time upgrade DPS plus two. Everything else, including DPS, adds two more. I then get out of that menu, opening up my character info. 385 gold. 1000 more XP to level up again. I look at my map, clicking on the six skill trainer icons, reading what each one taught.
"How about... Sword damage trainer. Sounds good" I say, running to his place. I look at him.
"So... can I select a skill to get?" I ask him.
"You must accept me as your skill granter" the man said.
"Than I accept you as my skill granter" I said, curious how this worked.
"Step right in here and I will tell you the available skills you have, depending on your STATS. He told me. I walked into the the small building. It looked like some kind of training center, a dojo. I stood on the wood floor.
"Please sit on the cushion and remove your shirt so I can look at the STATS imprinted on your back". The hell? I thought, sitting down, and reluctantly removed my metal armor, and undershirt. Even though he is an NPC... I'm suspicious. I thought, and the trainer walked towards my back. "Seems as though you leveled a bit before coming here. Most come immediately after they first level up" he says, observing my stats.
"What's your name?" I ask, shifting uncomfortably.
"Herman. And welcome to my dojo" he says. CALLED IT! I think, smiling.
"What skills do I have?"
"Right now you can either get double stab or elemental slash".
"I would like... Elemental slash" I say, nervous. Was there a right answer? Herman walked to my back and wrote something down.
"You have two more skill points. Would you like to use them?" I nod. I was glad I waited and leveled.
"You have either heavy slice or water wave"
"Heavy slice"
He wrote that on my back.
"Alright I'm done here" I say and get up, tired. What time was it in the real world? I walked out of the dojo, and opened the menu. I logged out, opening my eyes to see my ceiling. Good old reality. I took off the amusphere and set it on my dresser. Tired, I turned my head and looked at the digital clock. "10:45 P.M. I'm hungry." I say and get up, walking down the hall then down the stairs, into the dining room. I walk into the kitchen that's connected to the dining room, grabbing a slice of pepperoni pizza and munching on it. In a few minutes, I said goodnight to my sister, Rachel, then went to bed.
