After getting slashed in the leg again, the boss jumps to the ceiling, from pillar to pillar around us, picking out its target. I frown, raising my sword in a defensive position above my head. Thinking I plan to attack it, the boss jumps down and I jump back. It smashes into the ground, a purple hexagon appearing saying "immortal object". I laugh, and the rest of the swordsman slash at it rapidly. I gets up and whips around, stabbing someone with his tail. He dies. I look around. Put formation was breaking. Then, the last archer remaining, Thalia, let's go of her skill, firing at the boss. It screams, having only 1 health point left.
"OH COME ON!" I yell.
"JUST... DIE!" Haruto yells then jumps and stabs it in the head. It utters one more faint cry, then falls over dead. A large screen appears above us players, saying, "Congratulations!" Everyone left cheers. There were only 7 players left from the origional 30 something. A screen pops up in front of Haruto, saying "last hit bonus". I get one saying "most damage dealt bonus" I smile, and accept the reward. 1,000 gold. That totals to... 1,650. I had gotten extra gold from the kobold's I had killed. And, I got a "razor katana" as an item. Now, the XP from the boss came flooding in. XP: +428 . It would have been a lot more, but it was divided amongst the seven people who helped fight it. Now, I needed 572 more XP to level up again.
"Nice..." I say, looking to Kaanan and the girl.
They smile and walk over, patting my back. "I never got your name... But you were amazing" she says, smiling up into my eyes.
"It's Yuri. Couldn't you have looked on the party list?" I chuckle. She blushes.
"Oh, silly me. I did not think about that at all!" She smiles, and opens her menu, sending Kaanan and me a friend request. According to it, her name was Sara. We both accept, and I leave Titans party. He was the second to last axe wielder left. Everyone cheered again. Titan said:
"Alright, let's all find a nice place to eat on the second floor and rest!" And they begin to walk up the stairs to the second floor. I follow, excited. This proved that I was strong.
