"Friends"

Yuri opened his eyes in front of the ability trainer's dojo. A player was walking in front of him and got startled. It was kaanan. I laugh, shaking my head.
"Nice to see you here! You choose sword damage too?" I ask him.
"Y-yeah... Don't scare me like that" he says, rubbing the back of his neck.
"How am I supposed to know you would be right here?" I ask, ready to walk away.
"Oh... I guess I wasn't thinking. Well, I have abilities to be granted" he says and walks past me. I shrug and go to the quest board. On it, there is a new quest. "1st floor boss raid- gets you to second floor" . I smile. Let's go find some peeps to beat a boss! Hell, the famous Kirito and Lightning-flash Asuna beat it mostly by themselves. Surely I can with a few more people! So, I set off to find people willing to fight the boss with me. I read the message board in the menu, and see one message from another player, wanting people to join him for a boss raid.
"Hell yes" I say and message the man back. "I can join you, when are you going to do it?" I send it to him, then think. Do I want to get a job? Why not. So, I go to the job area in the square, asking what kind of jobs I can get.
"The weapon and armor smith jobs are taken. Every other job is open" the man says, looking at me.
"I didn't want to do that anyway" I mutter and laugh. "How about..." I think. Cooking? Or hunting? Wait a sec, I can do both! "Cooking and hunting jobs, please" I say, smiling. The man nods.
"At a tool shop you can buy a hunting bow and fishing rod to carry out your jobs"
"Thanks!" I say, looking around for a tool shop. I see one labeled "item shop", and go to it instead. I opened up my menu to see how much gold I had. 385 gold. After greeting the woman running it, I search through everything she had for sale.
"I'll buy... Three baked potatoes" There wasn't hunger in this game, but food still tasted good and gave you a little health.
"9 gold pieces" she said, bored, looking towards the monster fields. I hand over the gold and get the potatoes. "
"Hey, you look like you need something to do. Want to go monster hunting with me?" Her eyes brightened up a little.
"Sure! Hold on though..." I got a message in my party request. It tells me I can join them to defeat the boss today, they are going to take it on soon. I smile. "We're going to kill the first floor boss!" I say enthusiastically.
"Oh my gosh! THATS SO AMAZING! LETS GO!" She yells, jumping up and down with joy. Her pink pig tails are bouncing with her.
I accept the mans party request. His name was Titan. "Come on!" I say, holding her hand and jogging towards the boss room. She blushed and followed. Once we get to the dungeon, I notice how many people there are. "There must be... Like... 30. How could we lose?!" I say, just as excited as her. I let go of her hand and join the crowd. On a chopped down tree stump a man in almost blood red armor stood, giving a speech to everyone. They all shouted war cries, pouring into the dungeon. "Holy crap... We must be running a little late" I say and charge in alongside the others. The thrill of battle got my adrenaline pumping. Leaving behind the girl, I drew my katana's and looked around. I was near the back of the people. Up ahead, I saw monster after monster run through, the gigantic party charging ahead. Then, a group of three monsters jumped into the fray, overcoming a player and killing him. "Ouch..." I say, trying to get to the front of the action. After pushing enough, I make it to the second line of people. Another player dies, being to overconfident and not using any potions. I chuckle to myself and think "nuzlock" , making sure my health was alright as I pushed to the front. Monster after monster I mowed down, and I started getting more XP and gold, though I suffered minor injuries. XP: 900 Gold: 150 Item: Medium healing potion, Minor strength potion. I smiled. That was only after three monsters. They were green, with purple spikes leading down their neck and back, scales like a lizard and a tail like a lizard, pointed teeth, and a forked tongue. I lopped off another ones head that had been hounding on another player next to me. Ahead, the door to the boss room lays, large doors imposing a sense of doom. But we can beat it, I thought, smiling. Then again... I thought when a woman charged in front of me with a longsword. Isn't this a little quick? To fight the boss like this... Barely anything else had happened in the game. The man that sent that message must mean real business. I fall behind a few lines as the walls turn to a grayish black and we stop in front of the boss doors. The man in blood red armor says:
"I am Titan, and I am leading this boss raid. Everyone, be confident, because together we can all defeat him. Try to surround the boss, and remember to block his attacks. We're all friends here, so everyone get along and work together. Let's go!" And with that, he concludes, and we open the boss doors into the chamber.
