The chapter starts from kartik getting naira a discharge from the hospital. She still had pain in her leg but she had decided not to tell kartik about it as it would just increase his stress. They were in the car when naira received keerti's call;
Keerti who asked her if she was fine or now also got to know that kaira resolved everything between them. She was really happy for both of them as this is what she wanted; before she could hang up kartik stopped her;
"keerti sun",said kartik;
"haan kartik bol",said keerti;
"maa meri dusri shaadi karana chahti hai tujhe pata tha yeh baat?",said kartik;
"haan pata thi...I am sorry kartik tujhe bataya nahi par sach kahoon toh tujhe batane se koi fayda nahi hota..maine khud maa se bohot baar baat ki hai yeh keh kar yeh galat hain par unhone nahi maani...voh toh aashi ki mumma ko bhi bula rahi hai",said keerti ;
"maa ko pata nahi kya hogaya hai..me and naira have decided that hum sab se sangeet ke baad baat kar lenge jab tak wait karna padega",said kartik;
"kartik maa mujhe maaf nahi karegi..i am sorry",said naira but was interrupted by kartik;
"nahi naira tumhari galti nahi hain...we talked about this na",said kartik;
"haan naira apne aap ko uss cheez ka dosh mat do jo tumne kiya hi nahi hai...shubham ki baat chupane ki saza tumhein mil chuki hai",said keerti;
"saza toh voh bhi nahi milni chahiye thi tum toh uska check up",said kartik in a breaking voice;
"kartik...",said naira telling him to calm down;
"main bata nahi sakti kitni khush hoon main tumhare liye...ab alag mat hona",said keerti to which kaira looked at each other and smiled and hunged up the phone;
"naira hum mansi ke sangeet ke baad sabko bata denge..phir jo hoga dekh lenge",said kartik;
"kartik par maa..she would never agree you know na",said naira;
"chinta mat karo manage kar lenge hum dono",said kartik to which naira nodded;
On the other hand;
"Manish ji aap kartik ko phone kijiye na its 9pm and he is still not back pata nahi kahaan hoga mera bacha",said Swarna;
"Swarna tum chinta mat karo he must be coming late ho gaye hoge tumhein toh pata hai na shaadi ke kaam",said manish;
"par kaheen voh naira se milna ?'',said swarna ;
''toh kya hua ki voh naira se milne gaya...divorce file ho gaya hai par abhi bhi pati-patni hai dono..agar kartik naira se hi milne gaya hait oh balki accha hai'',said manish ;
''manish ji aap samajh nahi rahein hai...voh firse kartik ko manipulate kar dengi'',said swarna ;
"ab bas bhi karo swarna...its more than enough",said manish and walked out of the room;
