The Astronauts Oneshots

Samy X Elliot

This morning, Samy had been feeling down. Elliot noticed this, because she barely ate her breakfast and played with it instead. She could hide it from the others, but not Elliot. Nothing got past him. Samy also looked upset, as she barley said anything and kept her mouth shut most of the day. Later Elliot found Samy in the crew lounge on her tablet, looking upset. Elliot walked over to her and sat down next to her. She looked up at him and gave him a small, but fake smile.

~Crew Lounge~

Elliot - You okay Samy?

Samy - Yes.

Elliot knew it was a complete lie, and Samy knew he knew as well. Tears started brimming in her eyes and Elliot wrapped her into a tight hug while she silently cried. Her cries became sobs, and Elliot swayed her back and forth, rubbing her back lightly, while making small patterns. Samy buried her face in the crook of Elliot's neck and held onto him like she was going to fall.

Elliot - Do you want to talk about it?

Samy - (muffled sobs) I don't know.

Elliot - It's okay if you don't want to.

Samy nods and Elliot plants a small kiss on her forehead. Samy pulls away and calms herself down while Elliot stroked her hair softly.

Samy - (sniffs) I guess I'm just having a bad week.

Elliot - (wipes away her tears) Everyone does babe. You'll have good days and bad days, even good and bad weeks.

Samy - Yeah. I guess so. Thank you for comforting me.

Elliot - Of course. If you need me you know where I am.

Samy nods and gives Elliot a quick kiss on the lips and Elliot stands up and heads over to the greenhouse to finish his work. Samy laid down on the couch, wanting to fall asleep, but could not bring herself to do so. Doria and Will came into the crew lounge and found Samy on the couch with her eyes closed.

Doria - Hey girl you okay?

Samy opened her eyes and looked up at Doria and Will who were standing above her with concerned faces.

Samy - Yeah.

Will - You look tired.

Samy - I am a little tired.

Doria - We can see that.

Samy - (sitting up) What are you guys doing here anyway?

Doria - We were bored. So we just came down here. By the way, you've been feeling a bit down lately. Everything okay?

Samy - Yeah. Bad week I guess.

Will - Oh.

Doria - Does Elliot know?

Samy - (raises a brow) You think he wouldn't know by now?

Doria - Eh. Of course he would.

Will - I just still don't understand how.

Samy - Because he can read me like a computer honestly. That's how well he knows me.

Doria - That's true. Well have a good nap Samy.

Samy - Thanks.

Doria and Will walked away while Samy laid back down on the couch. She still tried to sleep but failed to do so. She eventually gave up trying and went to go find Elliot. She went to the greenhouse but only found Martin there.

~Greenhouse~

Samy - Hey Martin.

Martin - Hey Samy.

Samy - Do you happen to know where Elliot is? He said he was here a while ago.

Martin - He told me he was going to the command module to finish up some work there.

Samy - Okay thanks.

Martin - Welcome.

Samy ran to the command module and just in time found Elliot getting up from one of the chairs as he was about to leave. She walked up to him and hugged him and Elliot hugged her back.

~Command Module~

Elliot - Samy? What are you doing here?

Samy - I wanted to see you.

Elliot - (pulls away) Why?

Samy - I want to sleep but I can't. I wanted to go to sleep with you.

Elliot - (chuckles) Okay.

Elliot and Samy went to Elliot's cabin to take a nap. Samy felt that she needed it after the terrible week that she had, and the only thing that was missing was Elliot. Samy and Elliot lay down together and snuggle up against one another.

~Elliot's Cabin~

Elliot - Go to sleep kitten.

Samy - (yawns) Do you promise you'll stay?

Elliot - (chuckles) I promise.

Samy - (smiled) Okay.

Soon enough, Samy falls asleep in Elliot's arms and Elliot plays with her hair for a little while until her drifts off to sleep himself.
