"El, wake up!"
I groaned, opening my eyes "It's too early, B." I said, covering my head with my pillow
"It's 7:50. And it seems like you had fun last night?" Bianca said, walking over to my side of the room.
I raised an eyebrow, lifting my head up.
"You're wearing one of Xavier's sweatshirts." She clarified
Oh s***.
I buried my face back into my pillows. "I know what you're thinking- we didn't do anything!"
"The fact you have to reassure me on that makes me think you don't know how obvious you are." She sighed
I sat up "What are you talking about?"
"I know you like him."
This honestly couldn't get any worse. Wait, it probably could. Play dumb.
"I have no clue what you're talking about." I stood up, grabbing my uniform from my desk chair.
"Fine. Deny it all you want. I know you've liked him since the beginning of the semester " Bianca said, leaving the dorm room.
I must have been pretty good at hiding it then, since I've liked him for the past three years. I thought to myself.
I headed to the bathroom, getting changed. I ended up wearing Xavier's hoodie under my blazer, since it was a bit colder today, and I ran a brush through my hair, putting it into a messy bun and sticking a pencil through it before I walked out the door.

After making it through a few classes, I walked into the Quad, it was busy for lunch. Everyone was chatting about the Harvest Festival tonight, with mandatory attendance. I went over to the food table and picked up a coffee and a beef burrito when someone's hands covered my eyes "Guess who." I stopped for a moment "Hey Xav." I grinned.
"Yep!" The voice said, uncovering my eyes and he ruffled my hair. I ducked and tossed him an apple. Xavier caught it "Thanks Ellie." He grinned. I looked past Xavier and saw Bianca with Yoko and Divina, and she was smirking at me. I rolled my eyes and tugged my sapphire blue beanie onto my head with my one free hand, the other holding my coffee and burrito.
"Still drinking coffee at noon?" Xavier said
"We both know why."
"Fair. So I was wondering-"
"That's not good."
He playfully rolled his eyes. "Ha ha. I was wondering if you were going to the fair with anybody."
I sipped my coffee "I was planning on going with Bianca and Yoko."
"Oh. Can I join you guys?"
I smirked "I'll do one better. I'll go with you."
He looked at me, having to tilt his head down slightly due to how tall he was. "Really?"
"Yeah. I don't think they would mind." I glanced over at them, Yoko sending me a thumbs up.
"Well, then I'll see you tonight. I'll pick you up at 7?"
I smiled "See you then."
