The castle is quiet this final day before Jimin's arrival on the frontline. Jungkook was already gone, doing his job to command while also aiding to the civilians that were put in harms way. His forces were doing a great job pushing out the Spints troops, forcing them out to waters for the battle. Putting this battle into Jeon's favor. The Spints didn't have any access to the sea, so they weren't prepared for a water battle. They had the hopes that they could take them by surprise and push further into the land.
But Jimin didn't know what was happening, if everyone was okay, if Jungkook was still alive, are they getting ambushed or are they getting the upper hand? He was sent into a panic when he knew Jungkook made his arrival at the Azula Bay. Every possibility was running through his head, every outcome. But nothing was easing his mind. And on top of it all, he felt betrayed by his lover not taking him with. It was both of their job to take care of and protect the people, so why not bring him along.
He was fully aware that there was a good reason behind it, but he didn't want to think about that. When Jungkook left, he locked himself in their room. Planning on just taking this moment to cool down, but soon turned to a violent break. The room is currently a mess. There's shattered glass, broken chairs, various items thrown about, and to top it off.. it was covered in snow. Not frost this time. And when it came to a calm, that's when he was told that Jungkook finally arrived at the bay.
He slid down the door and screamed. He didn't know what to do at the moment, and fear was taking over him slowly. The snow around him was turning into ice as he continued to scream and sob through the night. Once he finally calmed down, he noticed that the moon was starting to set and the sun was starting to rise. His finally day before he's there.
Jimin stands up and looks around at the mess he created. He's surprised that he could do this much damage with just his physical strength. The snow was just his emotions getting released. Walking over to the now shattered mirror, he sees himself for the first. He sees the emotional wreck he's become. There's an unfamiliar look of dread that is staining his face, and he can see the toll it's taking on his body. He's lost too much weight, hair is thinning out, and he's lost any real color in his skin. And he's so tired.
This wasn't him, and there isn't time for him to try and fix it. He knew that he was going to have to put on a fake persona for the first time in forever, but he couldn't have those around him worried. It'll make people question his reliability to take care of them. Will he be able to handle it? Or is he going to let them fall?
Jimin knows he's still going to be able to help the people, no matter what mental state he is. He could be on his death bed and would still try to help those around him. His heart is just too kind, too caring. "I need to just put this to the side for right now. My people need me more than ever. And I'm their new queen... I can't let them down. I can't let myself taint Jungkook's future."
