"Are you feeling better?", Felix asked when you entered the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of ice tea out of the fridge.
"Yeah", you said and sat down.
"Wanna talk about it?"
"Not really."
"Will you go to work today?"
"I have to, there is rent I gotta pay", you said chuckling and he nodded.
"You know, you can stay home if you don't feel good. You looked pretty done last night...", Felix said worriedly.
"I'll think about it another time", you said low and drank from the bottle.
"Won't you eat anything?", he asked and grabbed a bowl that he wanted to give you but you declined.
"I don't feel like eating but thanks", you said and put the bottle back.
Felix used the bowl for some cornflakes and asked again if you really didn't want to eat but again you said no and left to get ready.

"I'm leaving", you said and grabbed your keys.
"This early?", he asked and came closer to give you a filled lunch box.
"Thanks. Yeah, I'm gonna take the bus", you said and put the lunch box in your bag.
He furrowed his brows and asked: "Why? You never take the bus. And don't forget to eat."
'Because I might suddenly disappear and cause a car accident with that', you thought and sighed. "I don't feel well driving", you said instead and Felix nodded skeptically.
"Take care", he said and you left.

"Would you believe me if I'd say I can see other universes?", your client said in a session.
"It doesn't matter if I believe it or not, what matters is if you feel okay with what you see", you answered.
She thought about it and then said: "I see you in a lot of them, in some you are even twice there."
"Do you feel uncomfortable seeing them?"
"Not if nothing bad happens", she replied and then looked down.
"Do you want to talk about it?", you asked after a little pause.
"Sometimes I see people dying which is a bit... much sometimes."
"Do you know those people?"
Your client took a deep breath and without looking at you said: "Sometimes it's you. And in one you seem to not exist anymore, it's very confusing."
You nodded comforting, then asked: "Are you afraid you can't go to your sessions anymore?"
"No, no, it's not that. I also see other people die I don't know", she tried to explain and you hummed understanding.
"Does anything else make you scared?", you asked and she got frustrated.
"You're not taking me seriously!", she said loudly.
"I do. I know it can be very haunting to see people die but you can see this as a new beginning as well. Yet a new beginning always means something else ends hence my questions."
"They're not dreams!"
"What are they?", you asked and your client calmed down a little.
"They are like visions, I don't know. It's difficult to explain."
"That's okay, when did they start?"
"Just... recently. It began when I saw you getting shot in a park", she said and you unintentionally raised your brow.
"No one shot me", you explained and she sighed.
"But you're wounded. Are you sure you didn't get shot?"
"I think I'd know if that would be the case, wouldn't I?", you said but thought back to when it happened.
"Hm... yeah... yeah, I guess so", your client replied and looked down again.
"It's okay, don't worry. This too will pass just the way it suddenly came. Everything is alright. But we only have 5 minutes left of our session so is there anything you'd like to get rid of now?", you asked and she shook her head. You gave her a new appointment and she was about to leave when she turned around and said: "Please, take care. You don't have a second chance."
"What do you mean?", you asked and she sighed.
"I don't know. In my vision, you were scared to mess up that one chance and it didn't look good for you." You nodded and thanked her, and she then left.
Did she get her ability when you got yours?

Coming back home Felix greeted you and took your bag. While you put off your shoes he said: "You didn't eat."
Sighing you answered: "I had no time, sorry. I'm gonna eat it as soon as I calmed down."
"Did anything happen?", he asked worried and put away your stuff.
"No, not really. It's just stressful and exhausting."
He nodded and walked to the living room, you followed him.
He jumped on the couch and turned on a show he liked. "Come on, let's watch it", he said inviting but you declined.
"You know I don't like that", you said.
"Ah, come on! It's good!"
"No thanks", you said and left to your room.
It didn't take long until you fell asleep.
