It was dark outside and the cold air was caressing your skin. The wind was blowing through your hair while you mumbled "It's going to be okay. It's going to be okay" over and over again. "Ma'am, are you okay?", someone asked and you turned around, looking like a deer getting flashed by the lights of a car. Your gaze wandered to your hands which weren't just muddy but also covered in blood.
"Are you okay?", the person asked again, putting their hands up defensively and coming closer slowly.
"Don't!", you yelled panicky and the person stopped.
"What happened?", the person asked of which you couldn't see more than their silhouette.
"I... I don't... I was... there...", you stumbled because your brain couldn't form full sentences besides "It's going to be okay".
"Y/n?", the person asked shocked and worried.
"Y/n?", you repeated confused.

"And sometimes it happens suddenly. But I'll try my best, thank you", your client said and you nodded smiling, then said goodbye.
As soon as she had left, you walked back home. Usually, you would have done some paperwork but after what you saw, you couldn't think straight.
"You look like you've seen a ghost", Felix greeted and you huffed with a half smile.
"Hey... what's wrong?", he asked and followed you to your room.
"Please, leave me alone..."
"I'm barely seeing you lately... Look... I'm sorry I didn't tell you that I would be home late yesterday... but please don't isolate because of it..."
'Yesterday... right...', you thought. You had totally forgotten how time worked here by all the multiverse traveling.
"Will you tell me what's going on...?", he asked worried and sat down next to you on your bed.
"You wouldn't believe me anyways, so no, thank you."
"I was always there for you, why shouldn't I be there for you now?"
"Because you didn't believe me the other times when I tried telling you. Please, leave my room."
"That's not fair", he said getting up and walking to the door, "I know it's just your illness but right now, you're hurting me with that."
"Oh? I am hurting you?", you asked angrily and stood up, walking closer slowly, "What do you think how I feel?! You're putting words in my mouth and don't believe the ones I'm telling you! I am living like 4 lives at once, how the HELL do you think how I feel? Now, leave!"
Felix scoffed and walked out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
"Grow up!", you yelled.
"Fuck you!", he replied and you scoffed, shaking your head.
"Fuck yourself...", you mumbled, lay down in your bed crying, and pulled the blanket over your head. You felt a small weight on you and pulled the blanket slightly aside so your bunny could come under your blanket with you. The other one joined as well because he got jealous.

You were lying like this for a while, still crying and feeling on the edge while cuddling your bunnies when suddenly someone asked: "What are you doing there?"
"Who's asking?", you asked, not wanting to have a look.
"Your worst enemy", he joked and you huffed smiling.
"What's that blanket? And why am I not on it?"
The Avengers blanket. Your blanket. Shit.
"I'm not dreaming, am I?", you asked embarrassed.
"Nope. Is that Tic Tac over there? And who's the blue chick?"
"He's called Antman and the blue girl is Nebula."
"Never heard of her. However, why is Natasha having red and blonde hair? I can't recall her ever having that mix."
Natasha. The infinity stones...
"It's from my universe. Differences and all that stuff", you lied.
"Hm... makes sense. It suits her though."
"Yeah... it does..."
"Now, tell me what's going on here", Bucky demanded with a worried undertone.
"Ignore me, I'll be gone soon. I hope..."
"What?"
"Well... first of all, this is embarrassing, and second... my bunnies. I have to go back."
"What's wrong with them?", he asked confused and you sighed.
After a few more seconds you decided to push the blanket away which woke up the tri-coloured bunny who was looking around interested. The white one didn't care and preferred cuddles.
"You... got them with you?", he asked and watched the bunny hopping around on you, trying to figure out where it was.
"I think so. And I don't think it's quite safe here, let alone that I have literally nothing for them."
"We can get some food and a cage, that's not a problem. But... what if you travel back and can't take them with you?"
"You mean..."
"Yeah, what if they stay but you don't?"
You swallowed and tears rushed down your cheeks again.
"I- I-...", Bucky stuttered and wanted to apologize but couldn't get out the words.
"It's okay...", you sobbed, "It's not that I didn't think about it already..."
The tri-coloured jumped down from the couch you were lying on and began to explore the living room. You both watched him while you were petting the white one.
When the tri-coloured decided it was time to investigate the man, he got down to his level and let the bunny sniff him. Eventually, the bunny stroke his chin on Bucky's leg and you laughed.
"What?", Bucky asked.
"He's owning you now, he marked you", you explained laughing and Bucky scoffed.
"How dare he. I suppose I have to get all their stuff now since I am his pet now."
"I guess so", you said chuckling and watched the bunny coming back.
"What's my master's name?", Bucky asked trying to stay serious.
"Mucki", you answered, "the other one is Clarry. She'll be your queen soon as well I suppose. But she's a real diva, keep that in mind."
"But she looks so calm and lovely."
"Because she loves cuddles and is desperate to get some", you said chuckling.
"Alright. I'll get some stuff soon. Will they be okay? Will you be okay?"
"Me?", you asked, getting caught off guard.
"Yeah, you."
"I'm alright", you said but couldn't convince Bucky.
"Did you have a nightmare or something or what made you panic?", he asked worriedly.
"Huh?"
"You're here. Which means you must have felt some kind of panic... at least from what you said last time."
"I... actually didn't feel panicky at all... more like kind of the opposite... I was angry and depressed."
Bucky thought about it, and so did you.
"That's confusing, but we'll figure this out, don't worry. However, what made you feel that way?"
"You're back and I see you got something with you", someone suddenly said.
"Strange", you said rolling your eyes.
"Dr. Strange", he corrected you, "yes. I suppose those bunnies are yours?"
"Yes, but from this universe", you lied because you got scared he would harm them.
He examined you, then sighed. "If you're not honest with me, I cannot help you. Tell me how you got them here, we could do the same so you can get me to your universe."
"Hell no", you exclaimed, "I'm not gonna cuddle with an arrogant pos."
"So you were cuddling? Anything else?", he ignored the rest.
"I was... I don't know. I was sad, okay? Leave me alone." It wasn't the time to deal with him right now, you wanted him to leave. You wanted to be alone because you were overwhelmed and having him here made it worse.
"Sad... hm... you're not telling me the whole story. You want me to help? Then tell me what you know."
"You come in with no warning while I look like I got in a car crash and you couldn't care less about my well-being? What's wrong with you?! And how do you know I am back?"
"I put a spell on you. It's... kind of like a tracker."
"What?!", you exclaimed and stood up.
"I told you I need more information so I tried to track you but eventually I couldn't see you anymore."
"Until now."
"Exactly. So either you have some kind of a protecting charm on you or you are a multiverse traveler."
"It's not like I told you what I am."
"But I had no proof until now", he explained and you sighed.
"You better leave now", you reminded him.
"While you just traveled? Now is the perfect time to recall the events leading to the travel."
"Are you stupid?!", Bucky chimed in.
"No, I guess I am smarter than all of the people in this tower. However, what happened in your universe?"
"Leave her alone, she told you that several times."
But Strange ignored Bucky and continued studying you.
"I was angry and depressed", you told Strange.
"What do you feel now?"
"The same", you said and glared at him.
"That's not it then. What happened before you traveled?"
"I had an... argument with my friend", you said lower than you wanted.
"Well... that's happening right now as well, isn't it? What else?"
"I don't know, I wouldn't consider you a friend at all."
"Tell me what else was going on", Strange demanded and stepped closer.
"I don't know!", you yelled at him.
He looked at you from head to toe, then began to move his hands and golden lines and symbols appeared.
"Stop", you demanded but he didn't listen.
"Stop!", you yelled but he grabbed your arm and jumped with you through a portal.
