Leo and I went ice-scathing for a while after we finished drinking out drinks. He was pretty good at it, but I was a bit clumsy, probably because I was from a place where it didn't get very cold often.
Soon we stopped for a rest, which I desperately needed. We sat down on a bench and I stared at the sky. It was quiet, but I didn't mind. It wasn't the awkward kind of silence, more of the happy-to-be-here-with-you kind of silence.
We sat there for a while before Leo turned to me. He looked at me until I turned around and looked at him. Then he just stared into my eyes. Again we sat there in happy silence before I noticed Leo slowly leaning towards me. He didn't exactly look like he was going to kiss me though, so I just sat there, thinking about what I should do.
Then he pecked me on the lips and whispered, "Will you sing a Christmas carol for me pretty please?" In a somewhat kiddy voice.
I pushed him playfully on the chest, looked away, and crossed my arms. I was quiet for a second before I said frankly, "No."
"What?! Why not?!" He begged.
"Because." I looked opposite of him, "you teased me like that and I didn't like it."
"I'm sorry." He said with a puppy face.
"No your not." I said like I was angry, but really I was messing with him.
"Yes I am. I really am, and I'll prove it to you!" He said standing up.
I looked at him and tried to keep a strait face, "How."
"I'll get you another hot coco. That is if you want." He suggested.
I pretended like I was thinking about it for a while before I quickly said, "Fine." and looked away.
He smiled "Great! Stay here, I'll be back soon." then he ran off to get more hot coco.
I sat back and looked up at the sky again. Everything was silent until I heard footsteps. I looked up thinking it was Leo back already. But really it was someone terrible. Two someone's. Clementine and Josh.
"Well well well. If it isn't the bitch." Said Clementine.
"Looks like it. And look she's alone. Wonder where her so called boyfriend went." Josh stared.
I mumbled under my breath, "Won't you just shut up Jessie and James."
"What the hell did you just say?!" Clementine said stepping towards me.
"Nothing you need to worry about." I said turning away from them.
"Sure didn't sound like that." Josh said walking towards me.
"Oh well. To bad. You're wrong." Josh was now in front of me.
He slapped me and leaned in close to my face before saying, "You're a dipshit, you know that."
I puckered up my lips a bit facing away from him then said, "I think I'm adorable." my face was stinging.
That made them more angry which made the thing more humorous. Then Clementine noticed a ditch nearby with rocks all around it. She tapped josh on the shoulder and pointed at the ditch, smiling devilishly. Josh soon gained the evil smile as he caught her drift. I looked at them confused.
Then Josh leaned towards me and grabbed my arm. He pulled me up forcefully. "If you have such a good boyfriend, then why doesn't he save you?" Said Clementine as I attempted to struggle out of Josh's tight grip.
He carried me to the edge if the ditch an that was when I realized it was deeper than I thought. I started screaming loudly. Josh then said with a straight face, "Shut up bitch." I stared at him for a while terrified. Soon his lips curled into a smile and he turned to me. He looked like a maniac.
Then next thing I knew was that I was flung into the ditch. I rolled down the rocks screaming again. At the bottom i the ditch there was about a foot of thin ice. I landed at the bottom, the ice ripping through my jacket, scratching my arms and torso, not like they weren't already scratched up though.
I couldn't hear anything besides my own breath and whimpers. I was too shocked. It hurt to move. I just laid there, crying, cold, wet, and torn up like a rag doll. I felt completely alone.
