Kion and Rani layed down, exhausted.
"That was amazing," Kion looked over at Rani. "Yeah, it was," Rani breathed. Kion licked Rani's cheek.
"Who would have thought that a bet between us, would make us mates," Rani said. "Yeah," Kion looked up.
Rani went closer to Kion, and cuddled with him. She smiled, and purred. Kion chuckled, and quickly fell asleep.
Kion woke up first the next morning. Rani was cuddled up next to him. Kion licked her cheek. Rani opened her eyes. She smiled, "Morning Kion." "Morning," Kion replied.
Kion stood up and stretched. Rani rolled over onto her stomach. She rested her head on her paws, and yawned.
"Tired?" Kion smirked. "Very," Rani chuckled. Kion layed next to her.
"I love you Kion," Rani nuzzled into his chest. "I love you to Rani," Kion smiled.
Kion and Rani walked out of the den. "So am I still your servant?" Kion asked. "Yes, it hasn't been a week yet, and that was our bet," Rani smiled.
Kion chuckled. "What must I do today?" Rani thought for a second. "Ok this isn't technically a chore, but I want you to do it." "Ok, what is it?" Kion asked.
"I want you to bond with my dad. I know you are slightly on good terms, but still, please do this," Rani said. "Alright, I'll do it," Kion smiled.
Rani licked his cheek, "Thanks Kion." "Anything for you," Kion nuzzled her.
Kion and Rani met Sahasi and Ananda at the tree. Baliyo was sleeping from patrol.
"Morning mom, morning dad," Rani smiled. Ananda smirked, "Did you two have a good night?" Kion blushed and Rani giggled. "Yep," Rani replied.
"Sahasi?" Kion asked. Sahasi looked at him. "Rani said we should hangout today, and get to know each other a little better," Kion said.
"Sounds like a good idea," Sahasi smiled.
They all ate a gazelle for breakfast.
Kion and Sahasi were about to walk off, but Ananda held Sahasi back and whispered in his ear, "Be nice with him. Don't intimidate him either." Sahasi chuckled, "I won't."
Kion and Sahasi walked around the Tree Of Life.
"Kion, I have a question," Sahasi said. "Hit me," Kion smiled. "What made you like my daughter?" Sahasi asked. "Well, she super kind, caring, has an amazing singing voice, she is competitive, and beautiful," Kion replied.
"I'm glad to hear it. It's good to know that my daughter is mates with such a good lion," Sahasi smiled. "Thanks," Kion smiled back.
Kion thought of an idea. "Last to the mountain pass is rotten meat!" Kion shouted and started running. "Hey I wasn't ready!" Sahasi shouted. He ran after Kion.
Sahasi quickly caught up with Kion. They arrived at the mountain pass at the same time.
"Wow, your fast," Sahasi gasped for breath. "Same to you," Kion smiled. "Sorry, just give me a sec, I haven't run that fast in a while, I'm beat," Sahasi collapsed to the ground.
"Sahasi!" Kion asked in panic. "Im fine Kion, just need a quick rest," Sahasi replied. Kion nodded. "Ok, but take one when we get to the Tree. Not in the middle of the open," Kion chuckled.
Sahasi stood up, and walked with Kion to the tree. Ananda and Rani were talking.
"Dad you ok?" Rani asked. "Just worn out from the race," Sahasi breathed. Ananda chuckled. She took him in the tree.
"So you got along with my dad well huh?" Rani chuckled. "Yeah," Kion smiled.
Rani and Kion spent the rest of the day talking and playing.
"Want to take a nap?" Rani asked. "Sure," Kion smiled. Rani and Kion walked to their den. Rani quickly fell asleep.
Kion chuckled. He licked behind her ears, then fell asleep with her.
