Ananda smiled. Rani's sickness had gone. She was healthy, but very weak.
Ananda knew who she should let in first.
Ananda walked out, "Kion?" Kion looked up, crying. "Rani's healthy, the sickness is gone, you-" Kion cut her off.
"I CAN SEE HER!" Kion shouted and jumped up. Ananda smiled and nodded.
Faster than light itself, Kion dashed into the den.
Kion finally saw Rani, after months and months of being apart. Rani looked frail, but she was healthy. Kion dashed to Rani's side.
Rani looked up at Kion and smiled. "Hi, Kion," Rani said weakly. Kion burst into tears, "Rani!" Kion licked her cheek multiple times.
"How are Raja and Sawa? Are they ok?" Rani asked, still on her side. Kion nodded. "I've missed you Kion," Rani said. Kion layed next to her, "Not more than I've missed you."
Ananda left them alone.
"Rani, I-Im so sorry. This was my fault, I should have checked the gazelle before you ate it, or I should have been the one to eat it. It broke my heart knowing you were sick and I couldn't be by you," Kion cried.
Rani weakly nuzzled him, "Don't blame yourself for this. It wasn't your fault, and I'm here now, so none of that matters," Rani said.
"But you were in pain because of me," Kion cried. "Kion, that doesn't matter, the only thing I care about is being with you, and our cubs," Rani kissed him.
"I love you Rani," Kion cried. Rani wiped away his tear, "I love you more."
Kion pulled Rani closer to him. They cuddled for a few minutes.
"I want to see our cubs," Rani said. "Of course," Kion started to walk out. Rani stood up, but fell.
Kion went to her side, and let her lean against him. They walked out.
Rani saw Dalia letting Sawa and Raja nurse. Kion and Rani walked up to her.
Dalia looked up. Rani smiled, "Thank you for taking care of my cubs." "Of course," Dalia smiled.
Rani looked down at her cubs. She nuzzled them. Dalia stood up, "I'll be going now." She walked off. Rani layed down next to Raja and Sawa.
"They are beautiful," Rani licked them. "Just like you," Kion layed down next to her.
