"So... what are you doing again?" Hinata asked, leaning up against the table as he watched Komaeda carve something.

"I'm doing wood carving! Do you like it?" He held up the work in progress sculpture of... Hinata.

"Is that me...?" He grabbed it from his hands, looking at it in wonder. "Damn, you're really good at this."

"Yeah!" Komaeda smiled, gingerly taking back the sculpture. "Thanks! I personally don't think it's that great, though." He looked at it with a sad look. Hinata gently smacks his shoulder in a playful.

"Love, you've really got to stop being so hard on yourself. You're the most talented person I've met." Hinata smiled at him, causing Komaeda's cheeks to flush a bright fuchsia.

He let out a rueful sigh. "God, Hajime, you're the best."

"Wanna give it a try?" Komaeda held up his finished watercolor painting, looking to Hinata, who was lingering behind him.

"I'd love to, but I doubt it be any good..." He smirked nervously, scratching the back of his head. "I think I'll pass."

"I'm sure you'd just find but... whatever you think, darling!" He smiled, hanging up the paper to dry. "Do you like it? It's some mountains that I remember from my childhood."

"I think it looks stunning. Great job!" Hinata walked up next to Komaeda, slinging his shoulder around him and giving him a small kiss to the cheek. "Geez, I don't unerstand how you constantly have the time and money for this stuff." Komaeda laughed, pointing to himself.

"Lottery winner, remember? Three-hundred million! I have way too much excess cash at this point, even after donating so much of it. I spend it on this sort of stuff now."

"I think that's a good thing to spend it on." Hinata smiled, leaning into him more.

"Hajime look!" Komaeda rushed into their shared home, presenting a new creation of his; a glass swam. "My best yet!"

"So that's what you were doing." Hinata mumbled as he walked up, admiring the piece. "Wow... Do you have any previous experience with glass blowing?" Hinata took it from his hands, making sure to be careful with it.

"I've taken classes for awhile, but this is the first time I've really put in the effort when making a sculpture." He smiled, fidgeting with his hands. He looked up at Hinata, a hopeful look in his eyes. "It looks good... right? I didn't mess up?"

"Oh, Nagito! This is the best thing you've made so far! I'm so proud of you." He hugged him tightly, giving him a kiss when he pulled away. "I'm gonna put it on the mantle, is that alright?"

"Mhm! I think it would fit nicely there." Komaeda could feel himself smiling even wider, a bubble of hope and love bursting in his chest like a blazing flame. I hope I get to spend eternity with him.

"Hajime, darling! I wrote you a poem! Wanna read it?" Hinata brightened up, smiling as he walked towards Komaeda. He absolutely adored that look on his face whenever he showed him any of his projects.

"I would love to!" He grabbed the paper in his hands, reading over the words carefully.

come as you are
but still come with me
my trust for you a sacrifice
your payment to me a kiss
heartbreak creeps closer
but this romance a satisfactory present

partners in crime, partners in life
stay with me until our attraction fades
though i think i will eternally be
falling for you, for this
communication fails to assist in envy
you will never compromise with destiny
but could you give me a chance?

i solemnly swear
you'll never see me with another
no one else could steal my breath as well as you
a welcome theft
only you
only you
only you

Hinata could feel his face softening. He really does love me, a lot. "It's a bit... dark, but, beautiful all the same! Thank you for it!" He hugged him, giving him an additional kiss.

"God, you're too kind. I love you so much." Komaeda hugged him back, feeling some butterflies fluttering around his stomach.

Hinata groaned. "Why do you keep moving? I'm trying to sleep." He buried his head deeper into Komaeda's chest.

"I'm crocheting. You can watch if you like." He smiled, kissing the top of Hinata's head. Hinata lifted up his head deciding to watch.

Komaeda's hands words with the speed and expertise of someone who had been doing it for many years. Hinata didn't know exactly what he was making, but it looked complicated. He's so talented. He smiled as he stared, a slight epiphany reaching him.

What made him decide to stay with me? I'm not much special. He frowned slightly. Never mind that, he's still the best person I've ever met. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"A bit sudden but... I love you too, darling." He smiled done at Hinata, pushing up his glasses slightly. "More than you could ever imagine."
