TEVAHINE'S POV
It was in the afternoon,Lo'ak,Tuk,Spider and Kiri went with me for a hunt,of course I kept refusing but I couldn't resist any longer seeing Tuk's pleading eyes.
I carried Tuk on my back,we were in front of the old base where Jake used to link with his avatar,I never bothered to know more about it since it wasn't really my business.
When we suddenly heard heavy footsteps,it sounded like they were many.
«Get down !» I told the kids,we were behind some trees and racines so they won't see us.
Na'vi dressed in sky people clothes.Demons.
My grip tightened around Tuk that was holding me tightly as well.
I looked at their guns,five fingers,obviously.
«Tell your dad that the demons are here.»
I whispered to Lo'ak.
Then waited for his call with Jake to finish.
«He said they'll be there in minutes,as soon as possible. . .»
I told them to slowly and quietly walk in a crouched position in a attempt to get far from them.
Run away ? No,I was a warrior,I'm not going to let the sky people pressure me.
I put Tuk on the ground and whispered to all of them.
«Stay there,I'll be back.»
I saw Kiri's worried look,she really liked me and I really liked her,I couldn't risk her and the others getting hurt.
I walked quietly to the demons disguised as one of our own.
I took my bow,raised it and killed one of them,without making any noise.
«Watch my six.»
One of them said with a deep and strict voice.
«Yes Colonel.»
They all raised their guns and scanned their surroundings.
Colonel. . . ? The only colonel I know is Miles Quaritch,the one who burned my home and destroyed everything we had.My sister killed him.I was there when it happened.
I decided to check on the kids from afar and saw that they weren't there.
I looked at the fake Na'vi and saw that some of them were missing.
«Colonel we've got a handful of natives right there ! »
A voice called from the forest and they all ran to it,I didn't hesitate to run to it too.
As fast I could,trying to reach them before they could,finally seeing them,being held by demons,I sped up.
Coming right in front of them,someone grabbed me by the queue,making me almost scream in pain;It was a female demon,hardly holding me down.
The kids were hissing and struggling.
«Mawey childrens mawey»
«Five fingers,we got half breeds.»
One of them took Kiri's hand,showing it to the others.
«Let the kids go demon !»
I screamed as I felt my head pulsing in a painfully way,my queue being crushed in the female hand.
I saw Kiri looking at me with a more than worried look.
«We got a full native here,she's useless for us.»
The female said in a harsh tone and the colonel went to Spider»
I heard them talk but I needed to think about a plan.
The colonel looked at Lo'ak,frowning.
«Show me your fingers.»
He showed them in a middle finger,Jake say it's rude.
Like father like son I guess.
«You are his aren't you ?»
He took him from the others one hold.
«Where is he ?»
«Sorry I don't speak english. . . With idiots.»
He tightened his grip and his queue and Lo'ak hissed at him,a hiss mixed with a scream of pain,they were hurting them too much to my liking.
Then I heard a hiss and a whimper,Tuk was being held as hard as everyone.
«Let her go can't you see she's a child ?! »
I said in my best English,since I did a lot of mistakes.
«Oh so you talk ?»
The colonel smirked at me and signed to the one holding Tuk to be easier.
«So,since you're the oldest imma ask you. »
He let Lo'ak go,immediately being held by another guard.
«Where is Jake Sully ?»
Suddenly we heard a call in the forest.
Neytiri.
The call getting louder and louder,meaning she's getting closer.
«Watch out.»
He said to his people.
Then,is a short split second,I was released and everything just went into a mess of bullets and screams.
I ran and covered the kids as they escaped,we then ran through the forest.
«Where is Spider ?»
Kiri said looking at me and I looked behind us seeing that he's not there.
I looked at Kiri's anxious expression.
«I'll get him»
I saw Neytiri screaming to me to come back but too late.I was already fighting them again when I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder,I touched it and looked at my hand seeing blood.
I felt someone grabbing my queue,again,it hurted so much,I looked at Spider struggling then I was dragged along by someone.
I tried to struggle but nothing,just more and more pain.
In the corner of my eye,I saw Neytiri,coming for me.
«Go away ! Save the kids I'll be fine !»
As bullets were shoot in her direction.
«Go Neytiri !» I screamed firmly at her.
She looked at me,with an worried expression and escaped their claws,unlike me.
«Hurting a pretty face like yours would be a shame,you'll be a better bait.»I heard the Colonel say,passing by with a slight smile.
