𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 (Miles Quaritch x Oc)

09-Attraction

I found a plant leaf with water in its center so I gently pulled down the leaf and drank from it.
I could feel an eye on me,when I turned to look at him,his eyes,they were giving me this weird feeling,eyes are a way to the soul,and when I looked into his,it's almost like he was trying to understand me.Maybe it was just an impression.

«When you drink,don't pull hard on the leaf,it's giving you something precious,so don't hurt it.»
Was all I said before escaping his piercing eyes,I know he was waiting for an explanation,he always do.
It was starting to be dark and the plants were starting to shine,making a beautiful view around us.

While the plants were starting to shine,so does the little dots on both of your bodies.

«Do you really want to go back ? We could just say we got lost and hurt so we waited for the day.Pandora is dangerous at night.»
I said,caressing a bioluminescent leaf next to me.

«I can't do that.»
He said in a strict tone,like he was trying to prove something.

«You know,in our clan,you're supposed to ride a Pa'li before getting an Ikran,you get an ikran when you became a hunter.»
I decided to speak a lot so he would just forget about going back,it seemed to work since he didn't say a thing and just looked at me.

I'm not usually a shy person but sometimes when he looks at me I feel like he's seeing me,his eyes are piercing yet they look so calm,like looking at a beautiful flower.

«So..we made it backwards ?»

«Yes.Oh wait there's I want to show you !»
I grabbed his forearm and started running through the forest,to the waterfall where we falled.
I could hear him talking to me but I'm not going to listen to his complaints,he's not ready for what he'll see.

We arrived at the big body of water,the only sound being our breath and the sounds of water,I turned to look at him and saw that while we were running,my hand slipped to his,so we were now holding hands,or,he was holding my hand.

I quickly removed my hand feeling my heart beat being a bit fast and my cheeks heating up.

«Look »
I told him while going in front of the water,when some bioluminescent fish were slowly moving.

His mouth opened in shock  as he looked at the view,the wave in the water could be seen because of the fish.

«It's beautiful isn't it ? »
I said looking at the nature Eywa gave us.

«Yes it it.»

She smiled,thinking that he was looking at the water too,little did she know,while answering,his eyes were glued on the Na'vi woman.

I was unconsciously smiling,I turned to look at him when my eyes met his,he looked relaxed,his face was close,really close,I could almost feel his breath to my skin.

MILES QUARITCH

I knew that what I was doing was wrong.
But something inside me kept telling me otherwise.
Why would I want to kiss her ? Why would I want..her ? My mission was to...what was it again ? I really don't know,I can only hear my heart going at a fast rate.

TEVAHINE

My brain took a small time to realise what what about to happen.
I took a step backwards as fast as possible.
I shouldn't do that.We're not mated and we don't love each other.
I looked back at the water like nothing happened.
Why would he do that ? Did he hit his head on a rock ?

I slowly touched the water, to a pretty fish who escaped my touch.
For a split second I felt like he...I saw him...or at least that's what it felt like.

Expected,why would I just went in a kiss like that,maybe I've gone mad.
I have a bad feeling about this.
