Escaping from reality

Part 48

Yoongi's POV
But as soon as we got out, the building shattered and the explosion threw us meters away. We both were still holding our hands but Jungkook had his eyes closed.

I can't move but I saw everyone running to us as I closed my eyes losing my consciousness.

Taehyung's POV
We ran outside the building but still we were not that far when it blasted and Y/n fainted. The blast was so big that being a little far too we got hit by small things from the blast.

After 2 minutes or so I put Y/n in the automobile and they all ran to Yoongi hyung and Jungkook.

I ran after them and saw both of them with their eyes closed, they both still held their hands together.

Soekjin hyung checked their pulse and breathing.

Soekjin:- "Jungkook's breathing is very slow, we need to take him to the hospital right away. Quick. Taehyung pick him up. I'll get Yoongi."

We can't lose him. He's the youngest among us, we've raised him, I can't see him die.

Soekjin:- "Jimin come with us. Namjoon, Hosoek check if that son of bitch is still alive by any chance. If he is, kill him right away. Taehyung let's go."

I picked Jungkook in my arms and ran towards my SUV. I made him sit in the back seat and fastened his seat belt and Soekjin hyung made Yoongi hyung sit in the back seat.

I had tears in my eyes, I can never afford to lose my dearest friend and brother.

I started the engine and accelerated my SUV to the nearest hospital.

After a few minutes I parked the SUV at a hospital and hurriedly took them inside.

They got Jungkook admitted in the ICU immediately and said Yoongi hyung needs a surgery as his shoulder got hit badly. They took Y/n in ward to treat her wounds.

They put IV and an oxygen mask on her face while Yoongi hyung is about to go for a surgery.

All of a sudden the doctor ran out from ICU to Y/n's ward and in the blink of an eye a stretcher was being dragged to another ICU with Y/n on it.

Soekjin hyung came to us and said that she's losing her heartbeat each second and they need to give her Defibrillation to bring her heartbeat back to normal.

He ran back to ICU while Namjoon and Hosoek entered the hospital. We told them everything that is happening.

Doctor came out of the ICU and informed us that something reacted in her body, maybe the food she ate there was allergic.

We all sat outside in the dreaded corridor when the doctor ran back into Y/n's ICU and gave her Defibrillations again.

Soekjin hyung asked him why all of a sudden he had to do it again to which he answered that they need to test her blood sample to understand the issue.

They took the blood sample and sent it to the lab for testing. Jungkook's breathing was normal by now but he's still unconscious.

On the other side they took Yoongi hyung for the surgery. They say that it'll take about 3 or 4 hours cause he was badly hit and he can't work with that hand for atleast 3 months.

After an hour or so, the reports were there and they said that she got infected and she needs a vaccination for that and that's a rare infection and it is caused by snake bite but the snake is usually less poisonous so the person doesn't die but they either lose their breathing or their heartbeat. But if not treated they eventually die.

A day later
Jungkook's POV

I opened my eyes and saw myself on a sickbed. I looked around and saw a dreaded hospital room. All of a sudden all the memories from that started to flash in my mind. Y/n. The explosion. Yoongi hyung. Everything came back to my mind.

Out of a blue the door opened with Jimin entering inside. He looked at me and came to me running and his tears started to pour.

Jimin:- "Jungkook? You okay?"

Jungkook:- "Is she okay?"

Jimin:- "Yeah she- she's fine"

Jungkook:- "Really?"

Jimin:- "Yeah. Leave it. You know you opened your eyes after 27 hours. I was so worried."

Jungkook:- "Yoongi hyung?"

Jimin:- "He's fine too."

Jungkook:- "Call them. I wanna meet them."

Jimin:- "Uh- uh they're- they're home."

Jungkook:- "Get my discharge slip and let's go home. *cough* *cough* I want see her."

Jimin:- "You're not well right now so they're keeping you in observation."

Jungkook:- "Well call the doctor there but I can't stay here."

Jimin:- "Jungkook please."

Jungkook:- "Are they really okay? Tell me the truth Jimin."

Jimin:- "Um well Yoongi hyung had a shoulder surgery and Y/n was poisoned by snake's venom so she's still unconscious."

Jungkook:- "I need to see them."

Jimin:- "No you're not okay either. Wait I'll call the doctor to check you."

Jimin called the doctor and he asked me to eat my food and take my medicines but he asked me to stay on my bed.

I need to see her and hyung cause Jimin said she was poisoned and that's something I can't take but I still need to be by her side as I promised myself that no matter what I'll never leave her side until I die.

Jungkook:- "Jimin. Take me for once. Please."

Jimin:- "Ju-Jungkook please rest, it's not good for you."

Jungkook:- "I NEED TO SEE HER CAN'T YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND. *cough* *cough*"

Jimin:- "O-okay wait. I'll take you."

He helped me stand up on the ground and to be honest every single muscle of my body hurts. Like someone's poking needles on my skin and as I walk the pain is running inside of my body.

It hurts so bad that if something hits me right now I'll break every bone of my body will turn down into sand and I won't be able to bring myself up again.

Yoongi hyung slept in his ward like a kid after a long devastating day and I moved to Y/n's room.

Jimin opened the gate for me and left  and I saw her lying on the sick bed with a oxygen mask on her face with several bandages on her milk skin. That small cut on her forehead had stitches and an IV attached to her hand. She was still unconscious but her face had a type of agony.

She had been through a lot and she's still suffering but I will make sure that she lives a peaceful life without any pain and sufferings. I want to give her the life she deserves and this time I will not lose her, I will keep her by my side with me.

I'll love her like she deserves to be loved she's a pure soul and needs fixing and I'll give her that. I'll do my best to make her happy and help her with her mental issues.

I moved near her and sat on a stool beside the bed and held her hand in mine. Holding her hand feels so good cause my pain doesn't matter for me now as I have her with me and I will not let her go this time.

Thinking about her I drifted off to sleep.........
