PETES POV

I open my eyes. How long was I sleeping? The last thing I remember was being in the car and... yeah I'm not gonna speak of that.

I sat up from the bed and look at the time.

9:00

Damn. I've been sleeping for a long time then. I'm hungry, the last thing I ate was that spicy kimchi soup. Which was breakfast. I looked to my side and noticed that Vegas wasn't there. Where is he? Is he embarrassed about kissing me earlier that he doesn't want to stay in the same bed as me? I hope not. I picked up my phone and went through my messages. How many times did Job text me? I clicked his message and read them. I miss you. Date? Deserve better? Omg. I forgot that he tried asking me out and I never gave him an answer. Pete, what's wrong you with?

I put my phone down. My heart is beating fast. I have a date tomorrow. I smiled at the thought of that. What going on with my heart? Do I also like Job? Well yeah. Job is such a nice person. He's funny, kind, and bold. I mean I never, ever seen someone speak to Vegas the way Job has. But then I also really like Vegas. I have no clue why. I want to stop liking him but I can't for some reason.

I got out of bed and started walking to the bathroom

"Oh hey, Pete you up finally," Vegas said.
He's wearing a suit. The inside shirt is white. His pants are black. And that is topped by a burgundy jacket. Why is he dressed so fancy?

"Why are you dressed like that," I asked

"We're going to a party. Get ready" he said

"I don't have anything fancy to wear tho"

"Don't worry I got you" he said pulling out a black suit. God, I thought this was vacation. I was trying to get a break from these meetings and parties.

"Same, but sadly we have to go," Vegas said

Oh did I say that out loud? I have to fix that. I took the suit out of Vegas' hands and went into the bathroom. I put the suit on and started doing my hair.

"Vegas do I have to wear the tie?" I asked. I hate wearing ties.

"No, you don't. Hurry we have to go soon" Vegas said

"Stop rushing me," I said

We arrived at the place. There were many fancy people. Some were drinking already while others have just arrived. Why is there a party so late at night? I'm still hungry there better be food.

"We here," Vegas said while putting the car in park

"Do you know all these people?" I asked

"I know half of them. They all are cool so you don't have to worry" He said
