The return of the Devil

Remember

It's been years since the demonio: Revenant showed up.
Back then, I was a child, and yet he had the nerve to kill my parents right in front of me.
Ever since then... I made sure he paid for what he did.
I hacked his system and made sure he never got to die. Yes, it has a lot of consequences... but I risk everything for my family.

*morning*
Loba:"Ughh..."
As I slowly woke up, I heard knocking on my door.
Valkyrie:"Hey dear, hope u don't mind me flying by."
L:"Kairi? What are u doing here so early?"
V:"Making breakfast for u so that u can get ready."
L:"For...*yawn* What?"
V:"U need be awake, Loba. Today is game day!"

'Oh sh-t...
I can't believe i forgot about the battle today.'
As I run back to my bedroom to put my outfit on. I could smell the food Valkyrie was making for me.

V:"Perfect timing, eat up we don't have much time. I'll see in the dropship. Don't fall asleep!"
She gave a quick kiss on my hand and left

After some time, I went to the drop ship, who was ready to depart

All the other legends are there as well.
I see Valkyrie waving to me in the distance.
As I walked with confidence, I felt like people were looking at me... whispering things... but I kept going.

L:"Hey, what's going on? Why are people looking at me like that?"
She looked at the others.
I felt her hand on my head.
V:"What are u talking about? They're not looking at u."
L:"Noo... People were whispering things. I know it!"
I looked worried at her. She noticed how worried I was and looked again at the crowd.
V:"Maybe just the way you enter. Your confidence can be amazing for others."
I smiled slightly

We stepped into the platform, and the ship left off.

*announcer*:"Welcome legends! Hope u are all well rested. It's a crowdy ship today. Your battle field will be... Olympus!"
I jump from excitement. I hear a lot of people with mixed reactions.

V:"It's ur lucky day, isn't it?"
She held my hand
I squeezed it slightly and gave her a smile.

We were ready to drop.
L:"I'm the jump master. You're falling for me already~" *wink*
As I let myself fall, I enjoyed the wind and dropped on my favourite spot together with her.

As we loot and have a good time.
The first kills are made.
We walk forward. I noticed there were enemies up ahead.
I give the hand gignal to Valkyrie.
I looked behind me but... she wasn't there.
L:"Valk? Where are you?"
I try to communicate on the radio.
There was no answer.
L:"Valkyrie, this is Loba. Do u hear me?"
Again... no answer. I had to watch out. People might have taken her.
When I wanted to turn around...
It was pitch black.
Someone knocked me out and carried me on the ground somewhere.

I couldn't move...
Before I knew it, we stopped moving.
They took off our blind folds, and I was in a café.
Right in front of me was Valkyrie.
L:"Kairi! O my god! What happened? Where are we."
Her eyes teared up.
K:"I don't know what happened. But... stay alert."
My hands were tied, and my guns were gone.

I took a good look at the surroundings.

'Wait... this is not what I think it is...
This café...
I remember this café... but where...'

A flash came in front of my eyes, and I suddenly remembered.

L:"Demonio..."
My voice raged with anger.
K:"What? That's impossible. *nervous laugh*"
She looked at me and saw I was sirues.
K:"Loba... Revenant left years ago. There is no way he cou-"
A laughter in the distance interrupted her.

L:"I'm telling u... this café is AXACT, the same one where he killed my parents!"
I tried to whisper
Her face turned into suprise and got more worried.

K:"But -"
?:"HAHAH!... You should've seen ur faces..."
The voice was far away. I couldn't tell if it was him.

L:"SHOW UR SELF!"
I tried to find a way to get my hands free.
I remember I had a knife in my back pocket. I took it and tried to cut myself loose.

I could hear the footsteps moving from left to the right...

?:"You won't need to worry of who I am... Ore... where I am. Why won't we just fight here?"

As the voice came closer, I smiled softly, knowing lucky it wasn't him.
But I've never heard that voice.

I had myself lose. I quickly grabbed my black market as a defence.

I went over to Valkyrie and got her free, too.
L:"Get out of here..."
K:"I'm not leaving u with an unknown enemie thay might be him."
L:"It's not. It's someone I've never heard before."

The target came down.
For a moment, I thought I was wrong.
The person had a robotic body, but it was a girl.
L:"Who are you?"
?:"Doesn't matter... let's fight" *glitches* "Kill me."
In confusion, I took a good look.
Red fire eyes. The same logo as him... this is definitely one of the bots he sent.

L:"Let me guess. Ur master sended u here to kill me."
?:"Master? *glitches* run!"
There is a person inside. I do not want to kill an innocent woman...
But I see no other way.

L:"Let's dance."
I putted down my black market and quickly grabbed a gun. We started shooting.

I got a good hit on her, and she went down.
?:"I will return..."
I looked at her shoulder and saw the same symbol as Revenant has on his robotic body. I was right,  he definitely sent this one. It won't stop here...

L:"Tell you're master, I'll be waiting."

With a smile, I pulled the trigger.

We didn't win the game because of my stress... I know he will be here Someday, but it's always the fear of when, where, and how...

Whatever it takes. I will take him down!
