After being scolded and yelled at by her parents, Naya began to gather a bit of her stuff. She needed to leave for a few days, not that anyone would even notice.

She packs her stuff and whistles for her Ilu. While boarding her Ilu, someone taps her from behind.

Startled, Naya throws a punch at the person but surprisingly, they catch her punch. It is then she sees it is Lo'ak.

"You have got to stop punching me." Lo'ak chuckles but doesn't laugh. "What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing, just peachy after my parents basically disowned me." Naya spits, sarcastically.

Lo'ak winces. "Bad question, sorry."

"Don't be. You did nothing." She turns away and fixes the saddle on his Ilu. "Wanna come?"

Lo'ak smirks.

"Hell yeah."

Naya'il had lead him and herself to a secluded island. This island was quite small and Naya has already mapped out most of it. She loved to come here to get away from her family whenever she needed it.

"When'd you find this place?" Lo'ak questions, helping her set up camp.

"About a few years back. When I was much younger, it's a really great escape from reality." Naya explains and Lo'ak nods.

"Well, it is a cool place." He agrees. Both of them finish setting up camp and make a fire. Both of them lay next to each other, Naya watching the fire blaze and Lo'ak watching the starry sky.

Naya begins to think and all of a sudden tears start falling out from her eyes. Not wanting Lo'ak to see her cry, she quickly wipes away her tears but a stupid hiccup had to ruin it.

"You okay?" He turns his head over to her and she turns away from him, getting up.

"Yeah, just got sand in my eye." She lies, sitting up and rubbing her eye. Lo'ak also gets up and pulls her hands away from her eyes.

"Tell me what's wrong." Lo'ak's bright yellow eyes bore into her own, dark blue ones.

"Nothing." She states.

"It's not nothing. Come on," he urges but Naya doesn't budge. "Fine."

He gives up and pushes her head onto his shoulder and he takes his arm around her.

"You don't have to tell me." He sighs and looks up at the stars.

There was a moment of silence until Naya began admitting everything.

"Ronal and Tonowari aren't my biological parents." Naya speaks up and Lo'ak turns to look at her. "I was adopted when I was a baby. Ever since I was young, I've always had this pressure put on me. Be the perfect daughter, the perfect sister, the perfect Na'vi. My sisters' the perfect one, not me. And no matter how hard I try, one little slip up, one mistake, it'll destroy me. The village hates me, my family doesn't truly call me one of their own."

"I get how you feel." Lo'ak understands. "Neteyam is this perfect little son that my parents want him to be. He's the perfect older brother and warrior. But me, nah, I'm a screw up."

"I guess we're more alike than we thought." Naya laughs while crying.

"I guess so," Lo'ak chuckles, his voice breaking at the end. Both of them staring at each other for a little too long.

Naya looks straight into the boys eyes watching them flicker down and up, back to her eyes.

Naya stays there frozen as Lo'ak begins to lean in, placing his hand on her cheek.
