"Oh, that." You mumbled.
You mentally slapped yourself for being forgetful lately.
"I can see your human form whenever I shift into an animal because I'm not exactly human at that state." You emphasized the word human.
"Really?" His eyes glittered with excitement.
"I know what you're thinking." He frowned at your words. "You can't just kiss someone to break your curse." You lectured him.
"But the Fairy Princess said that kissing the most beautiful princess would break our curse." He whined then copied your position. "And you can be considered as a princess."
"But that's not how to break the curse." You dryly stated. "Well, technically, that is how to break the curse. But it's kind of a riddle." You let out a laugh.
"How do we break the curse then?"
'By performing magic.' You wanted to say it but you shouldn't. Instead, you grabbed the book from his hand and told him the other way, and the right way, to break it.
"By learning your lesson." You stated placing the book back inside your satchel.
"And what do you mean by that?"
"You said that the reason why she cursed the seven of you was that she wanted to teach you a lesson." You purposely closed your eyes to tell this to Prince Merlin, not the dwarf Merlin. "Based on your story, you've been judging people by what they look like. For you, appearance has been superior." You opened your eyes and looked straight at his. "Have you ever realized how amazing you are even if you're a dwarf? Your true self as the fairest of them all." You quoted.
You turned your gaze at the stars resting in the night sky along with the moon. They're as bright as I first saw them. The night sky and the silence have been your comfort since you gained consciousness about the world you live in. They saw every hard work you've been doing. Every single tear that fell from your eyes. You let out a deep breath like you've been holding your breath for a long time. Your mind wandered to the past, to the day you finally had freedom.
You were inside your bedroom on your bed, weak and fragile. You tried to remove the choker around your neck but it just kept getting tighter. It was placed there by your mother when she found out that you escaped home when you shouldn't show yourself to anyone. Its purpose is to drain your energy when you use your power, forbidding you to use it. Then suddenly, a purple mist appeared around the choker. The reason for this mist entered your mind almost immediately. You tried removing it again but now it totally detached. You felt strong energy surrounding you and entering your body.
"She's weakening." You mumbled, looking out the window.
You hurriedly grabbed your cloak and veil then shifted into a falcon and flew out. You know where your mother was headed to right now with her evil plan so flew to the destination on full-speed. When you arrived at the place, you saw her surrounded by seven guys. You knew them. They are the Fearless Seven, the famous heroes of Fairytale Island. You searched for a place to land where you can see the whole scene. When you found a hiding spot, you landed there and shifted back into your human form. You made sure that your face was hidden before you walked through the crowds that were also watching the scene. The Fearless Seven was talking to your mother. Their words weren't audible from where you stood. When you fully saw what your mother looked like, worry embraced your eyes. In her state, if she uses one more spell, she'll die.
"What is she saying?!" You heard one of them asked loudly.
"Like I'd know!" The other one replied with the same volume.
