***Liv's P.O.V.***

"Jc..." I looked down at his hand holding mine then back at his face. He looked down at the ground.

"Fine, I knew I shouldn't have asked." He let go of my hand and turned away from me.

"No, I really like you but what about Lia?" I put my hand on his shoulder.

"What about Lia? Why does she matter?" He turned to look at me.

"Cause she's your girlfriend?" I was confused.

He put his board on the ground and picked up the shopping bag he was carrying for me.

"Jc, where are you going?" I picked up my bag and new board. "Jc stop!"

"I'll see you back at the house Liv!" Jc yelled. I rolled my eyes and put Kian's board on the ground and started skating home.

***Jc's P.O.V.***

I arrived home no more than 5 minutes after I left Liv. I sort of felt bad for leaving her in the middle of the street. I went into Liv's room and put her bag down on her bed. Something caught my eye on her dresser. I walked over to her dresser and saw a picture of her and Kian, me and her, her and Sam, her and Ricky and one of Kian, Ricky, Sam, her and me. "Jc?" I heard Kian's voice behind me.

"Oh hey Kian." I turned around to face him.

"What're you doing in my sisters room?" He leaned against the doorframe.

"Oh...Just putting her bag down." I pointed to the bag on the bed.

"Where is she?" He stood up straight again and folded his arms.

"She should be here any second." I heard the door click as if on cue. "That's probably her." Kian unfolded his arms and went to look for her.

***Ricky's P.O.V.***

I went downstairs to get something to eat but when I opened the cupboard there was nothing good. I grabbed my keys off the bench and walked over to the door. I went to turn the handle but someone was turning it from the other side. The door burst open and I saw Liv standing there with 2 skateboards and a bag of clothes. "Shopping?" I asked. She nodded.

"With Jc." She rolled her eyes.

"Yikes." I laughed slightly.

"He tried to ask me out. I said no though." She told me.

"Isn't he with Lia?"

"Yea. Exactly why I said no."

"That explains so much." She raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

"I heard Sam on the phone to Lia this morning. I didn't catch the whole conversation but he sounded pretty upset."

"Oh! That was probably what Jc and Sam were talking about in the driveway this morning!"

"This doesn't sound good-Wait! I hear Kian. Is that a new board?"

"Umm...Yea, Jc bought it for me today." She passed me the board.

"Liv!" Kian called from the hall.

"Hi Kian." Liv ran up to Kian and hugged him. "I was just talking to Ricky about my new board."

"Can I see?" She let go of Kian and took the board from me. Kian was looking at the board for a while when Liv said that Jc arranged a party tomorrow. "Ricky can you invite 50 or so people?"

"Sure." I sent a group text to just over 50 of our friends. Lia was the first to get back to me.

From Lia: Will Jc be there?

To Lia: Yea...

From Lia: Oh...Ok.

To Lia: It's ok if you don't want to come, I heard what happened.

From Lia: No, I'll still come. He doesn't know that I know so I should be fine.

To Lia: Ok, just don't do anything you don't want to.

From Lia: Thanks Ricky. I'll see you then :)

To Lia: Cya <3

"Hey Ricky, what were you two talking about before I came in?" I looked up from my phone and saw that Liv was gone.

"Umm...She pretty much just walked in so only about her board." I looked straight back down at my phone not wanting to talk anymore on the subject.

"Alright then. You want to come food shopping with us?" Kian asked.

"Uhh...Sure, why not?"

"Alright, we'll be out in 5 minutes." He turned and walked back up the hall.

I walked out the front door and into the backyard. My skateboard was lying wheels up in the pool. Remembering that Kian had used it in his video for some reason explained a lot. I got down on my knees next to the pool and only just reached it.

I walked back to the driveway and started talking to Sam and Liv.
