Hi guys :) this is a first chapter of my new fanfic Kalopsia. It may be a little boring at the beginning, but I promise it will get better! I have a lot in store heheh! I hope you'll enjoy this chapter.

Hi, I'm Sophia and I'm 21 years old. Here I am, my first morning in my new shared apartment.
I moved to Los Angeles from central Europe, because I've always wanted to live that American dream. I came here, thinking I could pursue a career of a model or an actress. A lot of people tell me all the time that I should be a model, I had some contracts offered from a lot of agencies in my home country, but I never wanted to do it there.

It's a lot different in America. Here, almost no one judges you. And that's what I feared back home, that I'd be judged. Girls were always jealous of me. I'm a tall, green eyed brunette that loves going to the gym, so I think that figures, hehe. They never care what you're actually like, they always assume you gotta be a bitch when you're pretty. But I think I'm actually one of the most humble people you will ever meet. Sometimes I'm extremely kind to everyone that some people take advantage of it. Nevermind.

So I live here with my room-mate named Sharon, we connected a couple of months ago via FaceTime. She seemed very friendly. She's been living in LA for about five years now, so I thought she would be helpful. I arrived to Los Angeles just yesterday and damn, I am intrigued, but also baffled about everything here. It's just so different from Europe! But I gotta say, I love it so far.

First thing I did when I opened my eyes was checking my phone. It was 9 am. Oh no, I gotta get up and do something. I really have to find a job here, so my schedule for today is clear. I threw the phone on my bed and yawned, disgusted by having to get up. I'm such a sleeper.

So I got out of bed, pulled up the blinds and opened the window. The weather was already pretty warm in LA and I loved that. I looked out of the window and took a deep breath. The air smelled like new opportunities and... a pinch of nervousness. So my plan for today is finding some clubs to ask for a part time job as a hostess or something like that. Plus I have to find some decent modelling agencies and try my luck.

I did my makeup and got dressed. I wore my favorite baby blue Levi's 501 vintage jeans, white crop top with cute little buttons and a pair of my black adidas gazelle's.

I went to the kitchen to get some breakfast.
" Good morning!" Sharon greeted me as she sat on the couch.
" Good morning." I replied with a smile and opened the fridge. I got a coconut yoghurt and some blueberries.
" So how was your first night here?"
" I was so tired, I slept like a baby." I said, grinning.
" Im glad you slept well. I gotta go to work in 10 mins."
" Sure, I gotta go too in a few minutes. We'll talk in the evening alright?" I smiled at her.
Sharon nodded and just a minute after she was running around the apartment, getting her things for work. Then we said goodbye and she left.

I finished my yoghurt with bluebs and granola and got out too.

After a few hours in the city I gathered at least 5 numbers from different agencies. I was told that I should call that number whenever I want and make an appointment.

The clock was showing 2 pm and damn I was hungry! I decided to take a break and have some lunch.

I left the last agency, which was located near Rodeo Drive. So I walked down the street, finding some nice cafe or a place where I could get some food.

[You can play the song up here to get you in the mood]

While walking, I popped my airpods in my ears and played the right song for this moment, The King Of Wishful Thinking by Go West. And yes, call me cheesy, one of the reasons I played this is because of the Pretty Woman movie. I love that one and everytime I watched it back home, I imagined how great would it be to walk down the Rodeo Drive. And let me tell you, it didn't dissapoint me.

I finally decided to sit down at a place called the Urth caffe. It looked pretty nice and cozy. I chose to sit on the terrace, cause it was warm and sunny outside. You could call it a perfect day.

There weren't many people to my surprise, but I was glad. I ordered a matcha latte and a butter croissant.

" Here you go, enjoy it!" the waitress brought me my meal. I said thanks and started drinking the matcha latte. It was delicious though.

I took a pic of it before eating because it really looked flawless. Then I looked up from my phone, hoping that nobofy saw me. I always feel little embarassed taking pics of food in public haha.

I looked around and out of nowhere, I noticed a familiar face. A man, he was sitting at the table across from me, alone.

No way, I know this man.
Dang. It's the actor. Evan Peters. Oh my god. I love him. I wish I could talk to him. Or at least take a pictue! WHAT SHOULD I DO.

I talked myself into staying calm. I didn't want to look like that crazy fan girl and also I'd feel bad interrupting him from enjoying his coffee.

I have to say he looked gorgeous. His light brown hair framed his face perfectly. He sipped his coffee, holding the cup in his masculine hands, while smiling at his phone. Probably messaging someone (😢). He wore a washed grey crewneck which looked very comfy and chic in the same time.

I was dead ass staring at him, to my surprise, my mouth was thank god closed. I think I'd stare at him like that until he'd left. But something interrupted me.

Suddenly his eyes met mine. Me, too stunned to do anything, I just kept staring. I could see a smile form on Evan's face. And you know what I'm talking about, it was THAT smile. Absolutely sweet. I smiled back at him, kind of embarassed inside, but flattered.

To be continued. Stay tuned!!If you want, leave some comments, I love your feedback guys.
