Love beyond time (book one)

Prologue

3rd person's POV:
April 8, 1912
Hyde Park
The girl fell on her knees and started crying. He looked around. Like he had imagined, the park was empty at that time. Jogging wasn't vogue yet, and it was too cold for the homeless to sleep on the benches. He enfolded the machine carefully and putted it in his backpack. The girl was sitting under a big tree next to the lake and her sobs we like the desperate screams of a wounded animal.he couldn't stand listening to her crying. But he knew that it would be better to leave her alone, so he sat next to Hera d waited for her to relax. He was waiting for the pain to stop, which was something that probably would never happen. He was feeling the same way as her, but he tried to hide his emotions. He didn't want her to worry about him. She turned to him and asked "Have the tissues been invented at this time or not yet?" He chuckled lightly and responded "i don't really know, but I have an textile handkerchief with a monogram" she took it and read "G.M... I hope you didn't steal it from Greys..."

"What? Of course not, she gave it to me. Don't worry princess" she smiled at his words and gave the handkerchief back saying "I destroyed it now... Sorry"

"It's okay, at least you stopped crying, right?" The moment he said that new tears started forming in her eyes. "We shouldn't have left her, she needs us! We don't even know if our plan will work, and now we will never know" her words hit him like a punch. (~do we say that? Sorry if it didn't make sense >.< ~) "we would be less help if we were dead"
"We could at least hide with her in another country, change names..."

"They would find us, you know that, we've discussed it a thousand times. We didn't abandon her, we ensured a safe life for her... At least for the first 16 years." She stopped talking for a bit and looked up at the sky, it was very dark and there weren't any stars. Then she spoke again "I know you're right, it just hurts to know that we will never see her again" he leaned and wiped the tears from her cheeks with his thump. Then she said "at least we know we won't get bored... Sooner or later they will find us here and the guards will hunt us down. He is not going to dump neither the time machine, nor his plans." He smiled at her craving for adventure. "I tPhink we proved ourselves smarter than him this time. Maybe the other machine won't work and he won't be able to make any progress"

"I hope so.. But if it works the we will be the only ones to try and stop him." He stand up and picked her up, kissing her lightly, and then he said "exactly. Which means we did the right thing. Now what do we do? Looking for a place to hide the time machine?" She looked around and said "yeah, but first we will despoil the guards' treasury and we will go shopping! Oh my gosh and the titanic leaves for his first trip on Thursday!" He chuckled saying "I thought we agreed to stay out of trouble... I'm in though" she laughed and he thought her smile was so beautiful, he kissed her again, more passionate this time. Then he said "I was thinking... Did you knew that the captains can marry couples in the ship?" She stared at him shocked "you want to marry me? In titanic? Are you crazy?" He looked taken aback and mumbled "why not? It would be romantic..."

"Yeah, until the iceberg hits the ship" she said and she putted her hands around his torso and buried her head in the crook of his neck and mumbled "I love you so much". He putted his hands around her smaller frame protectively and whispered "will you marry me princess?"

"Of course" she answered, with her head resting on his chest, before adding "in one condition. We are getting of the ship before the iceberg hit it" he chuckled a bit before saying "ready for the next adventure princess?"
"Ready when you are" she whispered back.

Okay! This was the prologue of the book, don't worry it gets better!! The chapters will be at Gwendolyn's POV, only the prologue and the epilogue will be in a third person's POV... also, the characters who were starring here are not in the next chapters, it will be long until we see them again :) I hope you like it!!
