Smut warning! 🚨

When I saw her I actually got pissed!

The moment she walked onto the fucking stage, with her beautiful silver locks and bright blue eyes, I grew outrageously angry.

Not at her exactly, only because of the fucking timing.

I never wanted another mate. I didn't ask for this. I was happy being who I am now. Well as happy as I can allow myself to be.

After Abiits death, I swore that I would never love another and I will stand by that vow till my last dying breath.

This little wisp of woman is not the one for me.

Puella may be a bitch but she understands me. Navin is right on his assumptions, we do need an heir for our kingdom. I know have shucked my responsibilities as of late. Leaving it all up to him to handle things but I can't stop grieving.

I loved.

Love.

I love Abiit and no one will ever be able to take her place, especially not this little wisp of a girl standing on the stage before me.

"We need to go meet her." Navin suggest.

The happiness written all over his face makes me even more temperamental.

How can he so easily just push our love for Abiit aside? It irritates me to no end.

"You go meet her. I could care less." I sneer. I have no interest in getting to know her.

Her being our mate doesn't change a damn thing for me. I will continue on with my semi-relationship with Puella like she never even exists. I don't care what Navin might think about it.

He may be ready to push aside our love for Abiit, but I am definitely not ready and I will be damned if he will be able to push me into it.

Not going to fucking happen!

"For fuck sakes Niko just give her a chance. You know as well as I do that I can't do it without you. Stop being a complete ass for five fucking minutes will you?" Navins display of anger toward me starts to draw the people that's around us attention.

To save ourselves any further embarrassment I just nod my head in agreement to him.

Bustling through the audience around us, we make our way through them, headed for the back stage area.
