Ah yes! It's finally here! New year of school! The last year I should say. I'm honestly excited! Can't believe it... My last year in highschool...

Though this year won't be any different from last year, it'll hopefully be more exciting! Getting to hang out with my friends again and goofing off in class will be fun.

I finally get ready for school. I wear an outfit that make me feel comfortable and more of my, just for me. Last year has taught me a lot about myself. Very grateful for last year if I'm being honest.

Oh right! Time for school!

I make my way to the kitchen where my mom has already prepared me a nice warm breakfast.

"Good morning dear" she says cheerfully and softly giving me a soft smile.

"Good morning mom!" I say back to her giving her the same smile.

"Excited for school?"

"Yup! Sure am! I don't know why but I just like today"

She smiles "well at least that makes two of us. Last year you were so moody and grumpy about going to school"

"Well this is the last year so now I don't have to deal with it next year"

"Unless you pass"

"PSH, I will pass I have you know" I say as I munch down on my food.

She laughs "of course you will"

After a few minutes I finish my breakfast.

"Would you like me to drop you off?"

"Of course" I smile "if you don't mind"

"Of course I don't mind" she smiles at me.

"Alright, I hope you have a good day at school" my mom turns to me as she stops the car near the school.

"Thank you mom, you have a good day at work!" I say now getting out of the car.

"Thank you sweetheart, I love you!" She says loudly as I walk away

"I love you too!" I say turning away and waving at her.

She smiles and drives off. I turn back around and make my way to the front of the school.

As I walk there I spot one of my friends looking down at their phone. I slowly made my way behind her. It was perfect.

I stood behind her looking over her shoulder. She was sending a text message to her girlfriend. I get close to her ear and whisper.
"Whatcha texting there?"

She audibly gasps, quickly turning around and throwing a hand to where her heart is at.

"Oh my God, what the hell you bitch!" She says dramatically.

"Don't be so dramatic Akarsha" I tell her now laughing.

"Ugh, I could have died of a heart attack because of you!" She says now fake crying.

"You're so dramatic" I hear a voice behind me. I turn to look to see my other friend, Travis, now approaching us.

"That was a near death experience! Should of been MURDERED!"
