" Everyone has a desire of revenge after a bitter breakup. Some accepts it and some pretends to be a saint forgiver you know. I assume you're more like the first one and I like it " Jungkook said with a calm smile, something was so mysterious yet soothing about it that made Taemin feel ironically relaxed.

" I'm glad you do. And you should also know that it's not only my revenge, it's yours too. I think You're more than smart enough to know who's been trying to sabotage your work and image in the office. " Taemin said it all in one breath making Jungkook break into a chuckle as he sipped onto his soft drink.

" You really despise Lalisa ma'am, don't you ? " Jungkook asked and just the mention of her name made Taemin's face churn with hatred.

" Yes I do. I hate her just as much I loved her. " Taemin scoffed bitterly and looked away.

" Do you ? Really ? " Jungkook's question made Taemin snap his head back towards the younger.

" What do you mean ? " Taemin asked.

" Nothing. Just the fact that you really don't hate her. You're just not okay with the fact that she used you in the name of love and left you afterwards. You should be angry, I understand " Jungkook said, his voice low and Taemin couldn't really enjoy the fact that Jungkook said the truth.

" No . I hate her. I do. You know all these right but not that. You can't know my feelings for someone. " Taemin demanded and Jungkook nodded a little, the small smile still lingering in the corner of his lips.

" Ofcourse Sir, I can't but you know what I said was true. If your ' I love you ' was a promise... would you break it if you were honest ? " Jungkook asked , now his voice low and slightly stern , sending a chill down Taemin's spine. There was something behind Jungkook's voice that made Taemin feel inferior.

" Yes yes damn ! I was fucking honest ! But she wasn't ! She used me for the position she's in today ! She knows well how to remove people from the way she doesn't like . Just like she did to me ! " Taemin couldn't care about pretending to be okay ...he just trusted his new colleague .

" Calm down sir. " Jungkook said and his light yet somewhere demanding voice worked like a spell .

Taemin drank all the whiskey from the glass in one go before pouring it full again.

" I loved her ! You understand Jungkookssi, I loved her ! I introduced her to Boss ! I got her the job in the first place ! I wanted to marry her... have a beautiful family with her...and she... she just " Taemin couldn't complete his words.

" She just showed her true colours late. You realized she was in touch with your not so loving father. Broke up with you all suddenly as she got the higher post and pretended to not know you at all. Tried to sabotage your works and got you into fake scandals to taint your reputation . I know, I know it all. " Jungkook said with a chuckle and shook his head a little.

" You...you know everything... Oh god, is everything about me public or you're some secret agent ? " Taemin asked with a confused look.

" Both are untrue. I just like to have all the information around where I am. You know, information is the key. And ofcourse I would have all the information about the person who's been trying to get me out of the company from the very first day, common, I'm not a kid. " Jungkook said casually.

" You know why Lisa's been trying to cast you out of the picture ? Tell me you know that too ? " Taemin asked with a smile, impressed with the younger's genuine smartness.
