Kanade sat on her bed, next to Mizuki.

"Like those two were crazy!" Mizuki squealed on and on.

It wasn't like Kanade was being attentive nonetheless. She only stared off reflecting on Mafuyu.

No way this worked. I hope this isn't a trick from Mizuki... Or worse, Haruka. Kanade firmly presumed.

"And boom and pow! The witch is dead!" Mizuki was rambling on and on about Nene and Shizuku.

And Haruka... She had no right to oppose me in the first timeline. Kanade jumped when she found Mizuki gazing at her.

"You weren't listening!" Mizuki differed.

"Sorry. I was wondering about Mafuyu and Haruka." Kanade drooped her head.

Kanade looked around. "I'm sure it'll be fine if you stay over here for a bit." Kanade smiled.

Mizuki nodded. "Hehe, alright! Sleepover time!~" Mizuki embraced Kanade, making her fall over on the bed.

"Hey, Mizuki, stop it!" Kanade complained to Mizuki hugging her tightly. Mizuki laughed and chuckled.

"Not until Kanade gives in! ♪" Kanade presumed she was being strangled to death.

"F-fine! I give in!" Kanade played.

The two had fun the whole night, playing games, laughing, talking, and playing video games. At 2:00 AM, the two were worn out.

"I'm happy I won that board game." Mizuki bragged. "Hey! It's not like I'm a loser at it, plus you had an advantage." Kanade disagreed.

"That's because the advantage was you being a sore loser!~" Mizuki teased. "Are you making me Ena now?" Kanade murmured in a harsh tone.

"Hehe! Well, you better be quite glad that I'm treating you like Ena, if I wasn't you wouldn't have anyone by now..." Mizuki poked Kanade in the arm.

"Hehe... Well, we should get to sleep. We have some witch-hunting in the morning." Kanade smiled at Mizuki before turning on her bed and going to sleep.

Mizuki smiled back and sat in a soft chair with multiple pillows. "Hehe. Goodnight, Kanade!"

Kanade woke up to see Mizuki gazing at her creepily. "Waah!" Kanade screamed. Mizuki chuckled.

"Why were you watching me like that?!" Kanade yelled.

Mizuki smirked. They lifted Kanade out of bed and helped her get clothes to wear.

"That's so cute!" Mizuki exclaimed excitedly. The two walked out and Kanade turned into her magical girl outfit. She held her soul gem firmly, making sure not to let it go, but still being able to see it.

"Okay, so where's the witch?" Mizuki asked her, going to her exact pace. Kanade looked down at her soul gem. It's glowing a little, so the witch must be this way. Kanade thought.

"Over this way, Mizuki," Kanade said as she led Mizuki to the witch's labyrinth.

"You ready to jump in? Hopefully, those two don't cut in again and kill our witch for us." Mizuki sneered.

"Well, let's go in," Kanade reminded them. "We can't waste time." After Kanade jumped into the labyrinth, Mizuki went after her.

"Unusual..." Kanade picked up a trail that didn't seem like a magical girl or a witch.

"Doesn't seem like a labyrinth I've ever been in before I died." Mizuki trailed off. It just seemed so dark, not with the usual bright colors.

"This just... Doesn't fit right with me." Kanade murmured.

As Mizuki and Kanade were examining the unusual labyrinth, Mizuki found something.

"Hey, Kanade, check this out!" Mizuki called, glancing at her.

"What is it?" Kanade walks over immediately, checking out the scene. "What could this be?" Mizuki pointed to a few things on the ground in front of them.

The first one looked like a witch's egg, but it was tainted with dark green and red. The second one was a marking on the ground, saying unknown words. "What do those mean? They're just symbols and stuff..." Mizuki mumbled. "It seems to be morse code. Do you have a translator with you?" Kanade doubted them. The morse code said, ".-..-. -. --- / ... . .--. .- .-. .- - .. --- -. / .- .-.. .-.. --- .-- . -.. / ..-. .-. --- -- / -.-- --- ..- / -.. . -- --- -. ... .-.-.- .-..-. / ... .- -.-- ... / .... . --..-- / - .... . / --- -. . / .-- .... --- / -. . ...- . .-. / -.-. .- -- . / ..-. .-. --- -- / - .... . / -.. . .--. - .... ... .-.-.-". Mizuki investigated it a little bit more, then sat up.

"Have any idea what those both mean?" Mizuki asked stubbornly. They reached into their pocket and grabbed their phone to take a picture of it. "Better save it for later, let's find the witch, and defeat it."

Kanade's eyes widened. "Mizuki, the witch is behind you!"

Mizuki turned around and slid backward. "When did that become a witch!?" They exclaimed, letting Kanade take control of it. "Just leave it to me, Mizuki!"

Kanade knew this wasn't a witch. It was nothing like a witch. It looked more like a demon shape.

She sprung herself into the air and shot the witch in the head. It screamed as it fell backward. It got back up quickly, making a servant familiar attack her in the process.

Kanade defended herself, fighting off the familiars. They all didn't look normal, they looked more of like a doll type.

Kanade kicked one to the other side of the labyrinth, and it broke apart.

Breaking apart? What's going on at this point? The witch doesn't look normal and neither do the familiars. Kanade shot the witch again and soon did the final blow. She threw a grenade toward the witch.

Three... Two... One! It blew up right when she smirked. The familiars and the witch died right when it happened.

"Woah, Kanade! That was awesome!" Mizuki exclaimed, beaming with amazement.

Kanade smiled softly as the labyrinth disappeared from around us.

Mizuki grabbed her hand and stared at her. "Kanade, that was amazing! When did you learn how to do that?!"

Kanade smiled. "Well..." She was cut off once again by two magical girls walking toward them.

"Oh, you again." Mizuki let go of Kanade and faced them.

"Well done, seems you can kill a witch by yourself." Kanade was using the grief seed as Nene continued. "There was no doubt you were gonna die, but I'm here to ask you something." Shizuku walked up with Nene.

"Has Kyubey visited you recently?" Shizuku asked. Kanade shook her head. "No, he hasn't. I haven't seen him ever since I made my wish."

Nene looked frustrated. "Well then, that's stupid. He needs to come back." Nene sighed.

"Thanks for the answer. See you again, I guess."

Nene walked off with Shizuku, chatting with her.

Kanade sighed to Mizuki. "I'm worn out, let's go."
