Midorima's P.O.V :

I stretched my arms and sighed. The kid who had just left the office was my 17th  patient who had cried today. God, I just didn't know what to do. Children were difficult to understand. I closed my eyes, trying to make my headache disappear. I then heard a small knock on my door.

"Come in." I said. The person who knocked entered. It was my mother.

"Shintaro..." she said, with a worried expression. "I heard you made another kid cry during a check-up today. Is that true?"

"Yes, I did mother. I don't know how. I'm simply trying to do my job but they just start bawling at me." I explained.

My mother walked over to my desk and sat down on the patient's chair. She looked at me for a moment, as if she was thinking of something.

"I think it would be good if someone who was good with children worked with you. They could be able to stop your patients from crying.

I took my glasses off and leaned back in my chair, rubbing my eyes. I really didn't want to. But if they could stop the crying...

"To be clear, I don't like the idea. But, I'll accept it anyway." I said, putting my glasses back on and adjusting them. "Did you have anyone in mind?"

"Ah," my mother smiled brightly. "I think you can work with Kuroko-kun. He's got such a charm with children!"

"Very well. I'll work with him." I said, sighing.

My mother got up and left my office. I wondered who this "Kuroko-kun" was like. I hoped he was at least easy to work with and not one of those crazy types that ruin everything. I yawned, stretched once more, then got back to work.
