What the hell was she thinking?

Her eyes widened as she realized what she had done, scrambling off the bed. (Y/N) groaned when she fell off and her butt hit the floor, she felt horrible.

Her head hurt, and she still felt tired despite hitting the floor. She walked over to the bathroom and washed her face, and she still felt awful. She walked back into the bedroom and fell flaccid across the bed.

She covered her nose as she sneezed, her eyes half-lidded. Things couldn't get any worse.

"You have a fever." (Y/N) heard someone say, she looked over to the side of the bed. Percy...

"No, I don't. I'm fine." She replied, sniffling.

He rolled his eyes and felt her head, she didn't even have the strength to push his hand away.

"Yes, you do. You're sick." He argued.

(Y/N) shrugged, "So?"

Percy stared at her emotionlessly, blinking his eyes. She suddenly was confused as to why she felt embarrassed.

Her eyes followed his figure as he walked to the bathroom. Closing the door, he came out a little later dressed in his usual clothes as he threw his pajamas in the laundry basket.

He walked out of the bedroom, hearing his footsteps down the stairs as she heard him grab his keys and the front door open and then closed.

(Y/N) crossed her arms before having a coughing fit, her throat sore and she felt pathetic. She sniffled again.

By the time Percy had come back, he had made a pot of chicken noodle soup. Bringing her a tray with a bowl of soup, water, two spoons, and a towel drenched in warm water.

He set the tray on the nightstand and grabbed a bottle in his pocket, it was cough syrup. Taking the extra spoon, he poured the medicine into the spoon and told her to sit up.

She shrugged and sat up against the bedboard.

"Open your mouth," Percy said.

She crossed her arms and shook her head.

He frowned, "Don't be so difficult (Y/N), it'll help you get better."

(Y/N) sighed and opened her mouth as he quickly ushered the spoon into her mouth. She cringed at the awkward taste, bringing the glass of water to her lips, and practically chugging the whole thing before coughing again.

He set the tray on her lap, "Eat it. It'll make you feel better, then get some rest."

(Y/N) nodded; her cheeks flushed as he left the room. Why did he have to be so nice? Why couldn't she just hate him?

She sighed and began sipping the bowl of soup, by the time she was finished, she was fast asleep on the bed.
