Girl Next Door // Danny Phantom + Reader [Possible Rewrite?]

Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I've done an update, so I figured it would be nice for you all to hear from me.

It seems I've hardly had time for anything. Being busy with work and babysitting my younger brothers has left limited time. So i've been slacking in terms of writing anything. Another thing is that my interest keep changing so fast. One minute I'm obsessed with Danny Phantom and another minute I'm hyperfixated on something else.

I know you guys love this story despite its flaws and many plotholes. I said I wanted to rewrite this story, but I have had no motivation for it. I just keep coming up with concepts for different Danny Phantom fanfictions, but I feel like I owed it to you to make a rewrite.

This is why I am making this apology in case I have given people false hope that this fanfiction will be returning. I thought I would do it, but I have way too much stuff going on and I have no inspiration to rewrite a story I wrote sophomore year of high school.

I'm twenty years old now and have grown a lot in terms of being a story teller. I also realized something about myself. I am a much better writer when it comes to creating stories that aren't reader inserts. While reader inserts are nice and I enjoyed writing them, I don't think it satisfies people enough. Because the reader is my own interpretation of how Y/N acts which often conflicts with people of different races and ethnicities or people's real feelings. It may sound weird to you guys, but that's how I feel.

But I love creating my own characters with their own unique personalities and character depth which allows me to express my creativity better. Reader Inserts are a thing I've mostly stopped writing and I have been writing OC stuff for a few years.

So again, I'm sorry to those who I disappointed. I do have a new Danny Phantom fanfiction, but it's an OC  centered story like how I've grown accustomed to. It's called Wolf In Sheep's Clothing and I have spent a lot of time and effort into making the story as compelling as possible. If you are interested, it's in my public works. If not, then I'm thankful for the time you took into reading this silly little story I created at a time my writing skills were mediocre.
