Eunji was at Eul's place, telling her about everything.

"Eunji-ah, I'll talk to Minhyuk if you want."

"And what would you say? You've never said anything mean to anyone ever in your life..."

"But still...and how could you not tell me first before you...you know...did that?"

Eunji laughed. Eunji's phone buzzed, the bright screen lighting up her face in the dimness of Eul's room.

Unknown

You know who I am.
Sit at our table at lunch tomorrow

You
Is that necessary?

Jerk
My parents still think I'm lying

You
Understandable
See you tomorrow

It was lunch and they were in the cafeteria. Eunji dragged a protesting Eul by the arm, her grip like iron as she marched towards Taehyung's usual table. Eul stumbled along behind her, her face flushed.

"I don't think I should interfere between you guys.", Eul said.

"Yeah, no, you're sitting with me. I don't care what you say.", Eunji said, and dragged Eul with her. Eunji was deaf to her friend's pleas, her eyes fixed on Taehyung's back as he sat calmly at the table, sipping his coffee. She saw Taehyung waving and smiling at her from his table. She had almost forgotten that they had to act "in love" from now on. So, she waved back.

"Wow, you're a professional...", Eul murmured.

Eunji flushed, suddenly realizing the implications of her actions. She'd just made a scene, just announced to the entire cafeteria that she and Taehyung were together. The act had begun, whether she was ready for it or not.

Taehyung stood, pulling out a chair for her with a flourish. Eunji hesitated for a moment, then sat, her posture stiff and awkward.

"My, my," she drawled, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Aren't we gentlemanly today."

Taehyung's lips twitched, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "Always," he murmured, his eyes glinting with amusement.

He turned to Eul, who was still standing awkwardly beside them. "And this must be your friend," he said. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Eul complied while Eunji Made a mocking face at Taehyung's courteous actions which he barely ever showed towards her.

"Ahhh, Eunji!" A voice rang out, high-pitched and excited. Jungkook bounded over to the table, his eyes bright with mischief. "You didn't tell me you were dating Taehyung!"

Eunji flushed, her eyes darting nervously around the cafeteria. She could feel the weight of a hundred stares, the whispers and giggles that followed in Jungkook's wake.

"We're not dating," she muttered in a whisper, her voice low and defensive. "It's complicated."

Jungkook grinned, his eyes sparkling with mirth. "Complicated, huh?" he said, waggling his eyebrows suggestively. "Sounds pretty simple to me. Boy meets girl, boy woos girl, boy and girl fall madly in love. What's complicated about that?"

Eunji opened her mouth to retort, but Jimin beat her to it. "Jungkook," he said, his voice firm and authoritative. "Behave yourself. You know exactly whats happening."
