Sutton's POV

The delivery driver drops our dinner off to us at 7:30pm, I take some plates out of the cupboard and put the food on it, before I walk into the living room and place one in front of Miles.

He eats his food as he looks at his phone.

What has him so engrossed on that thing?

"Miles?" He looks up from his phone. "What are you reading on there?"

"There's a lot of articles about Ryder on here. You should read some of the stuff being said."

That's one thing I don't want to do. It's hard when you have to deal with certain stuff for the bands I managed while working for my previous company.

"Can you take some of the stuff down, Miles. You know you way around a computer."

He shakes his head. "It's not that easy. Besides, when things are out there it stays somewhere on the net and I can't scrub the entire thing clean." Miles gives me a hug. "I wish there was something that I could do for Ryder, but there's not. I'm sorry."

"It's okay."

He digs into the pizza and pasta.

Ring, ring, ring. My phone goes off and I look at the caller ID and see 'Callum' flash across the screen.

I told the idiot he didn't need to call me.

Me: Hey, Cal.

Callum: Hey, Sutton. I got your boy off. The woman that made the false accusation is in jail. She might be facing three years in jail for what she did to Ryder. However, I don't think his reputation can be wiped because of this. People are on either her side or his.

Me: Thanks, Cal.

Callum: He also knows that we spoke.

Of course he does. You couldn't keep my name out of it. I bet Tyler was the same as well.

Me: Okay, thanks for letting me know. I'll hear all about it when I go home.

Callum: I'm glad to hear that you're going back home. If you need anything else from me please call.

Me: I will.

Callum: bye,

Me: Bye,

Hanging up the phone I look over at my brother and say. "Ryder's been let go. He'll be at the hotel packing with the boys."

"Do you know when they will be home?"

"No, but it could be around the same time as them. I hope I won't run into them on my first night back home. I'd rather ease into things when it comes to those boys."

"You won't be able to ease into anything with those boys. I've seen your friendship with them and it's something unbreakable. I'm not friends with anyone I went to school or college with as we all grew up and went our separate ways, due to life and the careers we chose." he continues to put his food into his mouth. "Are you going to eat dinner? It's getting cold."

Placing a piece of pepperoni pizza into my mouth. Around the food I say. "Ish Dish Better?"

Miles pulls a face. "That's disgusting. Remind me never to take you out to a restaurant."

Now it's my turn to pull a face. "After tonight I'd gladly not be seen anywhere with you, brother." I twirl some fettuccini around the fork before sticking it in my mouth.

Charges against Ryder has been dropped after CTV footage caught incident from within the stadium.

Miles smiles at me. "That's good news."

"Yes, it is. It's not good for the woman who accused him of such a thing."

"What do you mean?"

"She was arrested. Could face three years in prison."

Miles laughs. "Serves her right. I wouldn't want to be locked up abroad and away from my family."

After dinner I walk to the kitchen and clean the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I open safari and type in Saving Ryder. The bands page is the first one I open.

Scrolling through their site I see the video from the stadium. I click on the comments and go through them.

Janet Coleman: When I saw the video on Youtube I thought it a was real until I looked closely at it and saw that there were bits missing. It was shown to make Ryder look like a bad guy and he's not that.

Claire Hynes: I was at the concert tonight and when I logged onto YouTube I saw the video circulating around. If the band made an announcement earlier, we the fans wouldn't be split about who we believe.

Jess Spencer: This claim may be fake, but what happens when there's another? These boybands seem to get away with a lot of things.

Lena Hardy: Why is it Guilty until proven innocent in everyone's eyes? Ryder doesn't deserve all this shade.

A new video appears on the Bands page and I click on it. Ryder comes up on the video and he looks at the camera.

"Hello, everyone. Thanks for the support after the terrible incident that happened tonight. I wasn't sure how you would all feel about it. However, after reading a few of them I see that some of you are against me and some are for me.

I can't help that someone out there wanted to ruin my career and life. This is going to follow me around like a thorn in my side until I end my career or you all think we're not good enough.

Thanks again. We will see you at the next tour."

The video cuts off. I click on the like button and then head back to living room where my brother is sitting.

He looks up at me as I take a seat on the couch. "What took you so long in there?"

"I was looking at the comments about Ryder. Most of them are positive. There's a few negative things on it too."

Miles stands up. "What time are you getting up in the morning?"

"I'm not sure. Why?"

"I want to leave early in the morning and we still need to pack the car."

"We could take everything to the car now and if you want you can slip out early in the morning."

"Sounds good." We grab some of my stuff and take it down the the car.

Once everything is packed in the car he hugs me. "Thanks for letting me stay here."

"You're welcome. I'll see you when I get back. Thanks also for driving my stuff home."

"You could drive back with me? See some of this beautiful country."

"Nah, I'm all good. I'll get around to travelling this beautiful country another time. It was good having you here, bro."

Miles walks down the hall and enters his bedroom. He closes the door behind him."

Walking down the hall I head to my room and get changed. I climb into bed and grab my iPad to read a book on kindle.
