Ryder's POV

I can't believe Ryan would keep a secret like that from the rest of us. He didn't have to put his life on hold until I had Sutton with me.

"You guys are really fucking stupid..." I feel a kick to my leg and see Sutton not looking too happy with me. I think it's because I just cursed at the dinner table. "I'm sorry Mr and Mrs Holgate for swearing, but I think it's messed up that you would put your lives on hold for me. I never asked you to do that."

Ryan leans forward. "I know, but it's what we agreed on. Having you happy was the most important thing to us."

Picking up his phone I push it into his hands. "Call her. You're going to invite them to house to stay with us. They're going to have their first Christmas with us. It's the least we could do for them."

"Thanks," he looks around the table. "Excuse me." Ryan walks out of the room and makes the phone call.

Mrs Holgate looks around the dining room. "I don't have enough room for extra people to have dinner with us on Christmas."

"It's okay, we can use my place for it. We have a huge table in our dining room to sit twenty people at. So, it will be enough for everyone in your family and the band. Also, you can use our kitchen."

A smile spreads her face. "I've been dying to cook in your kitchen for years. So, having extra people will be perfect."

Sutton looks over at her mother and says. "I will help you. I can't wait to see what the house looks like."

Leaning close to her I whisper. "Come over tonight and I will show you around. There's plenty to see."

Especially, the bedroom that we were supposed to share and the one for our future children.

We start putting food on our plates after Mr Holgate finished cutting the food.

Dante looks across the table at Sutton and I. "Are you two going to get a room tonight?"

Sutton had put food in her mouth as he said that and she begins to cough.

Grabbing a glass of water I push it towards her. "Drink this." I pat her back for a bit.

She turns towards me and says. "Thanks," Giving her brother a dirty look. "You're an ass."

Dante turns towards his mother. "Mom, Sutton just swore at me."

Mrs Holgate rolls her eyes at him. "Sort it out yourself. You aren't children anymore. You're adults."

Sutton sticks her tongue out at her brother. "Mom told you to sort it out yourself. Stop being a baby, bro."

Miles starts laughing at his siblings. "Damn, I missed the banter between you two. Now, you're back it's going to be entertaining again."

Sutton looks at him. "I won't be here all the time. I still have to travel for work."

"How long will you be away?"

"It depends on how long my signing is on tour for. I promised Hayley Blake that I would go on tour with her until she was ready to do it herself."

Hayley Blake is going to a great addition to our tour then. Bringing Sutton along with us. I'm not sure if she was supposed to let us know that.

"Were we supposed to know about you coming on tour with us?" I ask her.

She turns towards me. "It will be all finalised when I meet with your manager tomorrow. I have no intention of telling him that I know any of you. I refuse to make my name with yours."

Placing my hand on hers. "I understand. Do whatever you need to. I'll be here for you."

"Thanks,"

Ryan walks into the room at the moment and takes a seat next to me. "They will be here in the morning. Phoenix was with his cousins so I couldn't talk to him."

Mrs Holgate leans across the table. "Ryan, bring them over tomorrow. I would like to meet them."

A smile spreads across his face. "I will do that. Thanks for inviting us to be part of your family Mrs Holgate. It's better than being with mine. You're there for your kids. While my parents continue to do nothing."

"If you ever need anything come to us. We will help you the best we can. I have a few things left over from my Grandson when he was younger that you could use. We can go through everything tomorrow before your family arrives."

I'm glad she can help out.

Dinner starts to dwindle. I stand and gather some of the dishes and take it to the kitchen.

Sutton helps me clear the table and take it back to the kitchen. She helps me clean the kitchen.

Mrs Holgate walks into the kitchen and she puts the dishes into their places. "Thanks, for doing the dishes."

"You're welcome, Mrs H. Do you mind if I take Sutton to the house?"

She smiles at us. "That's perfectly fine. Don't do anything I wouldn't."

"Mom," Sutton's face turns red. "I will see you tonight." She walks out the back door without turning around."

"Have fun." She shouts at us.

Sutton waits for me by the gate. She looks at the house and a smile appears on her face. "I can't wait to check it out, Ry."

Opening the gate I hold it open for her as she walks through. I close the gate as we walk through the backyard. There's a pool in the backyard with steam coming from it.

"Is that a heated pool?"

"Yes," pointing to the other side. "There's a spa too."

She follows my finger. "That looks nice. Have you used it yet?"

Shaking my head. "Nah, I prefer the pool. I still like to do laps." I look at her. "Have you been swimming since you moved?"

"No," she looks away from me. "I spent a lot of time walking everywhere. Driving in New York wasn't something I was interested in." She moves away from the pool and heads towards the house.

Opening the back door I let her walk in first. "I'll show you one of my favourite rooms."

"Okay," she follows me down the hall and I open the first door on the right. It leads to a studio. "Wow, this is amazing." She starts playing with things and it makes me smile.

She knows how to use all this. I shouldn't be surprised.

"I want you to sing something, Ry. I will record it for you."

Picking up the guitar I do as she says. I strum it at first and then look at her as I sing.

"Being in the same room with you again,
Feels so good,
It feels so right,
Let's do something together tonight.

You reach across the table,
And take my hand,
You reassure me,
That you're here for me.

I'm glad your back home,
Fitting perfectly in my arms,
This is where you belong,
By my side."

She smiles. "That was good, Ry. Even though I put you on the spot. You should finish the song during the week. It will be a hit."

"Are you telling me to record an album on my own?"

"Yes,"
