katie's pov
as soon as i got into camila's car i must of fell asleep, i woke up feeling cari stroking my hair "hey babe let's get you checked out" she said helping me out of the car, camila watched looking more worried,as we walked in camila walked to the desk to check me in and cari walked to the chairs and sat us both down, camila walked over "okay even the nurse on the desk says you look sick, she has bumped us up the que" she said looking at me, i must of fell asleep again because i could feel camila gently calling and shaking me awake, "come on babe let's get you sorted" she said as i stood up i could feel my legs felt weak cari grabbed hold of me and almost carried me into the room," okay wow so i'm dr scott camila says you have a fever" she said, i nodded, "and flu i think i had that a few weeks ago" i said watching as the doctor nodded, she stood up and checked my temperature again," 100 you definitely have a low grade fever, did you take any medicine when you last had the flu" the doctor asked, i looked over at camila realising she didn't know what happened, "no i was asleep for a few days i think i just remember waking up and days had gone by" i said watching as camila stared at me, "okay well it sounds like it's coming back for round two so i will get you to get some tylonol cold and flu tablets" dr scott said, i looked at camila "so can katie have the child's version she can't swallow tablets" camila asked, "oh yes that's fine theirs even cold and flu drinks she can have" the doctor said smiling, "plenty of rest and fluids i don't care if you have to wake her up just a few sips of fluids every few hours in the day" was the last thing i heard before falling asleep again,when i woke up i knew i was at camila's house in her bed, i could hear camila and cari talking outside but felt too weak to stand up.
camila's pov
as i sat with cari watching emmi play i heard a banging from my room, cari looked at me then my room "i can take her to mine to recover if you want, i don't want the baby getting sick" cari said looking at me, "but then you get sick looking after her" i said looking at her, just then we got a message of katie

we both jumped up and ran to my room i seen katie looking really pale and shaking i grabbed the thermometer and put it in katie's ear "let's sit up babe and have something to drink and some medicine" i said showing cari her temperature, cari's eyes went wide, we helped katie sit up and held her drink and medicine out to her, katie looked miserable and leaned on cari's shoulder, "medicine first then drink and more sleep" i said watching katie nod but well up, i jumped onto the bed as cari sat next to katie, "feel like shit babe" cari asked watching katie nod, "and i wanna see lauren's live event" she said sounding upset, "we'll see how things go baby if your still sick lauren said she will record it for you to watch when you're better" i said watching katie nod and open her mouth i quickly poured her medicine out and gently but quickly into her mouth, cari was quick handing her a drink but keeping hold of the bottle" camila that burns what is that" katie said looking disgusted, "sorry babe it's all they had it's the vicks kind but my moms ran out to get you the berry flavour" i said watching cari try not to laugh, katie was watching and glaring at cari, "cari you suck at not laughing" katie said making cari burst out laughing.

as the day went by katie woke up by lunch time, i could tell she was exhausted but pushing herself to go to lauren's event,"you know lauren won't mind if your not well don't you" i said as katie looked up at me, "i'm going to the event" she said looking at me, " let's make a deal i'll take you to the event but it's lauren's call if you stay their, if she says you can't be their you come back to mine and i'll take care of you" i said watching as katie nodded,as the night got closer i could tell katie was fighting to stay awake, "can we go to lauren now" i heard her ask looking at me and camila, "iv said i'd take her but it's lauren's call if she lets katie stay and if lauren says she can't be their id take her to mine", i said watching camila, "i'll let you go but know i'm messaging lauren before you get their, and as cari says it's lauren's call if you stay" camila said watching katie nod, "cari you can always bring her back if she gets any worse" camila said looking at me, as we got to the studio lauren was at and walked in katie was leaning onto me, "holy shit babe you look awful" i heard lauren say as she walked upto katie,katie looked up at lauren, "you have a hour here if i think your getting worse or anything happens cari will ether take you to her house or back to camila's" lauren said kissing katie's head, "i gotta get ready so for now cari's in charge, what she says goes okay" lauren said watching katie nod, we had been here for half a hour i'd got katie to have her medicine and convinced her to have a nap, she was fully asleep on my knee when lauren walked in, "she's going to hate me but she can't be here and i'm not making you care for her, camila said bring her back to her house" lauren said looking at me, "i did say to her it was your call if she stayed or not" i said gently picking katie up and walking back outside,as i got into the car katie was still fast asleep as i drove to camila's .
