Sasha's Perspective

I couldn't stop thinking about Marcy and...and Anne. I felt something around my best friends that I hadn't really ever felt before. What was it? Is our bond growing stronger? Are we drifting apart? Is..it becoming more serious..
No. Sasha, no way it's going that way. Not in a million years.
I walked into the door to my mom's house, and she was attending to my step-siblings. She seemed to not notice me come through the door. Of course.
" Sasha! Sasha's home! " I heard one if them squeak as I was taking off my shoes. Next thing I knew, a small body had thrown itself at me and threw its arms around me. I looked down to see the youngest kid wrapped around my legs.
" Hey little dude, " I laughed. He let go of me and I got down to his height, " How's your day been Jay? "
" Good! " Jay was practically bouncing, " But now it's better because you're here! " I smiled at him and I ruffled his hair. " May! Autumn! Sasha's home! " Jay called to his siblings.
" Sasha! " May bounced over here.
" Hey Sash, " Autumn greeted me. Autumn was the oldest of the bunch, they were roughly my age.
" Hey, " I greeted, " I'd love to stay and chat, but I have homework to do, "
" Homework on the first day? What a bust, " Autumn huffed.
" Yeah! Homework is so dumb! It takes away time I get to spend with you, " Jay pouted.
" Well, I have to do it little dude. We can spend some time later, m'kay? " I told Jay.
Jay nodded and he dashed off. May had chased after him.
" Huff.. How do you deal with them so easily everyday? " Autumn sighed, " I can barely get them to listen to a word I say. "
" I don't really know, " I admitted, " I guess I'm just good with kids, "
" Well, I bet you wanna get to your homework, I'll leave you be. Cya Sash, "
I did a slight wave and quickly headed upstairs. I opened my room and closed the door, panting. I sat by the door and I felt something in my chest. Everything starts to replay in my mind as if it was one of those weird dreams you remember. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Before my time in Amphibia. Before the time when my mom met her boyfriend Jack and his kids. Even before my parent's divorce. The moment, it replays in my head. The moment I weirded out two teenage girls to help some other kids my age then to get their swings back. They then invited me to swing with them and introduced themselves. Anne and Marcy.
It skips forward to a teenage girl. A control freak, making all the choices. Making everyone do what she want. Manipulation. False promises. Pressuring...pressuring Anne into stealing the box.
Do I..

My thoughts stopped. I felt something roll down my cheek. I touched it, and it felt wet. Was..was I crying..? C'mon Sasha, you're 16, almost 17. Old memories can't hold you back now.
Do I even deserve my friends..?
