After finding out Bianca was lying and also after losing Norma, Nick and Val have to work hard to keep themselves together as a couple but things that make Val question Nick's love happen along the line and maybe she can't keep going.

It's been exactly a year after the four best friends got separated from each other. They found out Bianca was lying all the while, Norma passed away sadly and Nick...well, Nick and Valerie took a pause to honor their friendship. He didn't actually wanna take the break but Valerie insisted. It's not like they were actually dating so.... it's not the kind of pause you think.
Well if you don't know what we're talking about I'll be lenient enough give a quick explanation.
Valerie and Nick have always been best friends without any benefits or strings attached but as time flies, they go on trips together and they even share their first kiss together, their feelings for each other begin to change. One kiss might not be able to bring two people together but going on trips and fun time together can.
Valerie's POV
I graduated from high school with honors and I was sought after by many colleges but I declined all because I wanna chase my dreams of becoming a professional writer. Writing agencies came after me too because I was interviewed on why I don't wanna go to any of those colleges so I accepted a job from one of the prestigious ones.
I'm going to visit Dia today- just in case you don't remember who Diana is, she's Nick's mom and also she's like a mom to me- she asked me to come over so we could have some girlie time.
I totally changed my fashion sense after high school because of the new fashion trend and you know I'm a fashion lover so why not? It's pretty hard for me to decide on what I wear these days that's why I pick out my outfit before having my bath, trust me it's easier by just five percent.So I'm picking out my outfit now because I'm not having my bath, don't blame me blame the season. I'm 💯% sure that the temperature 🌡️ is minus 7 degrees out there but they keep telling us it's just 15°.
After minutes of consideration I put on one of my personal best

It's a very comfy hot pink two piece and I love it. I know I hate pink or any other bright color but I love this one because of the shorts. I put it on before realizing that I can't actually wear this because of the weather so I grumble all the way back to my dressing room before taking it off and searching for something else. I just miss summer.

This should do. At least it's comfy and also it'll keep me warm. I put it on and put on my grey smiley face head warmer. I take a pic for the gram then I grab my keys and head out.
"Ohh it's freaking cold", I gasp, struggling to open my car with the auto unlock.
"Yeah, I bet the fishes would be dead by now, good morning Valerie",my hot neighbor says.
"You're so damn right Phineas, looking fit as always ",he always does this weird stuff of coming out every shirtless morning and lifting weights on the bare snowy floor.
"All for the ladies my lady",he winks.
I smile at him then drive off. Nick's parents house is a bit far from the house I bought, it's like an hour or so to get there and I'm gonna make many stops.
I got some groceries and after taking them out of the car I walk to the front door and ring the bell. It takes a few seconds before I'm greeted by Diana and her cute dimples.
"Oh hello there my darling, are these for me?",she pecks my cheek and grabs the groceries for me.
"Ofcourse Dia, it's been a while", I reply.
"Make yourself at home dear, I made lunch,and it's gonna be a long day",she adds while I shut the door.
"Long day? I doubt if I'll stay long Dia, I still have some online work to do and I've gotta rest early before work tomorrow plus I've got a list of things I need to do and I'll also have to drive for over an hour back to my place, I'll have to rest and-",I rapidly say, sitting beside her on the couch.
"Valerie darling you're doing it again",she cuts me off.
"What?", I ask.
"The uhmm... over planning thingy",she says.
"Shit I'm so sorry, it's just a habit for me stay in line", I reply.
"I understand but have you seen a therapist?",she asks.
"No",
"That should fit in somewhere in that list of yours, it's necessary honey",she says calmly.
"Is Jeremy home?", I ask.
"Oh he's not, he decided to hang out with some old friends",she cheerily replies.
"But there IS someone who you'd love to meet, I almost forgot she was even here, thanks for reminding me about old friends",she adds while I smile.
"Who?", I ask, feeling a bit nervous thinking about who it could be. Please don't be Nick.
"Bianca of course! I noticed it'd been a while since y'all got together and it couldn't be because you're busy or something. I contacted Nick but he can't come. He's got some important work to handle at the office so he said some other time",she says with excitement as Bianca steps out from the kitchen.
"Hi!",she says trying to hug me like nothing actually happened in the past, while I look dumbfounded.
I push her away roughly and get up. "Just because Diana doesn't know about what happened doesn't mean I have to fake friendship with you Bianca, you disgust me. And I don't wanna have anything to do with you because you're a piece of trash and a worthless girl who doesn't value friendship. Period!", I harshly speak up, one thing I did was to find myself after high school, I don't fake friendships with anyone anymore. I used to fake friends a lot of people like Hailey Joseph back then but writing has opened my eyes to being truthful.
"I don't get, what's wrong Valerie? It's been over a year or two since we last saw each other",Bia says.
"You seriously wanna play the fool? You want me to seem like a mad person huh?!",I scream at her.
"Valerie calm down. Let's just sit and talk about it. We can sort whatever happened out together.", Diana says.
"No Dia, this girl here separated I and Nick from each other. She played with our feelings. She faked a sickness, who does that? Just because of a fucked up obsession? She's not worth being called a friend neither is worth being forgiven", I yell at her.
"Look, Diana. With all due respect, I don't see myself in this gathering at all. I have to go, I've got work to do like I told you earlier and I'll come by another time so just you and I could talk", I tell Dia while walking towards the door and walking out of the house.
I don't care what anyone's gonna say but Bia hurt me and I'm not looking forward to seeing her fake tears like she always does just to apologize.
