Chapter 4: The Dance

Zayne's pov

" It's been two months since my first hunt in my home of Piltover. And in that small amount of time I've gained a reputation in the criminal underbelly. I've successfully completed many hunts in Piltover. I've also became friends with Kai'sa, a woman I saved in my first hunt. Right now I'm on another hunt. My target is a serial killer that escaped prison. Tonight he dies."

Narrator pov

We find our Hunter in the forest of Piltover hiding behind a tree in his bloody crow garb listening to a couple thugs who are sitting next to a small campfire.

Thug1: * looks at thug2* I'm telling you man it's true.

Thug2: bullshit.

Thug1: if you have a bounty on your head he comes in the night, and kills you if you don't surrender. He will especially kill you if your bounty says dead or alive.

Thug2: really. What's the name of this boogeyman.

Thug1: they call him the bloody crow of Piltover.

Thug2: whatever. I've got to go piss

Thug1: just be careful.

Thug2 just waves off his friend and walks into the dark brush. As he walks further he doesn't reliase he is being followed.  After walking for a couple minutes he stops after hearing a twig snap. He turns around seeing our Hunter, but before he can say anything the Hunter quickly covers thug2s mouth and stabs him in the chest. Thug2 struggles to fight back until he loses his strength, and the Hunter watches the light in Thug2s eyes fade then going limp, dead. The Hunter then pulls his blade out of Thug2 and let's his body fall to the ground. The Hunter then turns his sights on the small camp, then quietly walks to it. After a moment he finds himself behind thug1.

Thug1: hey Dave you good out there.

He hears nothing.

Thug1: d-dave.

The next thing thug1 knows is he feels a great pain in his chest, he then looks down and finds a metal gauntlet hand covered in his blood going through his chest.

Thug1: * coughs up blood * wha...

The Hunter pulls his arm out of the man's chest letting his corpse fall on the ground. The Hunter then makes his way to the main campsite with a sickening smile on his helmet covered face. Sometime later the Hunter comes across  the main campsite where he would find his target. After finding the campsite the Hunter then circles it killing thug after thug quickly and quietly. After some time a random thug comes across a blood stained Hunter stabing another thug. The thug then pulls out a gun firing a shot hitting the Hunter in the shoulder. The Hunter doesn't react only turning his head looking at the thug. The thug is then filled with fear, but before he can do anything he is swiftly beheaded. The Hunter then hears thugs running to where he is. He looks at where he was shot reliasing he can't use his left arm for the moment. He then looks toward the thugs charging at him, and charges at them. All that can be heard is gunfire screams of men dying and a blade hitting flesh. Sometime later after everything goes quiet we find the Hunter slowly approaching a injured thug.

Thug:* slowly crawls trying to escape * please man.

The Hunter says nothing only stabing his blade though the thugs leg into the ground. The thug screams in agony, then feels his head being lifted and coming face to face with the Hunter. The thug looks on in fear as tears fall down his face.
