(don't judge my cliche title..MKAY BYE)
"Ash?" I whisper after a few minutes. We had somehow fallen sideways so we were laying on my bed, my body curled into his, his arms wrapped protectively around me.
"Hmm?" he mumbled into my hair.
"Stay with me? Just tonight? You don't have to if you don't want to but I just-"
"I'm not going to leave you, Nick. I promise."

I rubbed my eyes, sitting up in bed. I subconsciously reached out for Ashton, my stomach clenching as my hand only met empty sheets. Rolling out of bed, my feet hit the cold floor and I shivered, walking out into the kitchen.
"Morning, sleepyhead." Ashton's raspy morning voice called, and I smiled.
"I thought you left."
"I made a promise! You don't trust me, do you?"
"Not particularly."
"My heart! You broke it!" Ashton clawed at his chest dramatically, causing me to giggle.
"Bummer deal! I'll trust you eventually."
I smirked, pouring myself a mug of coffee and sitting next to Ashton on a barstool.
"Morning Nick."
I turned to see the sleepy, blond girl rub her eyes and walk up to the sink. She grabbed a glass and filled a glass with water.
"Hey, Liss. Sleep okay?"
She turned around, eyes widening at the sight of Ashton.
"Uh, yeah. I'm assuming you didn't get much sleep?"
Ashton coughed loudly, standing up. "I'm going to use the restroom, I'll be right back."
I blushed. "MELISSA."
She turned around, smirking at me. "What?" she asked innocently, putting a hand in her hip.
"I hate you. Go straighten your hair or something."
Melissa stuck her tongue out at me, giggling. "Fine, Mrs. Irwin." she turned and sashayed down the hall to her room. As she passed Michael's door, she banged on or a few times with her fist. "Get up, loser!" she yelled, and ran to her room, locking the purple door.
"Lissa!" Michael's voice boomed.
Laughing, I set my coffee down and went back to my room. "Ash, it's safe now." I called as I walked by the bathroom.
