The Split World: The Prophecy in the Woods

-Chapter Two: Runaway-

~Jasmine's POV~

Following the officers, I arrived at the airport. I've never been on a plane before mainly cause my parents don't....well they use to not have time to travel. But i guess they found the time now. I heard that this plane was to help travel from Mitara to Kinra. Not many people from Mitara were able to go to Kinra unless under certain circumstances. The news has stated multiple people with high academic achievements were able to cross over, or even anyone that they believe is suitable enough.

I watched as the officer and the two kids walked into the airport and bought their tickets.

"I'm guessing you forgot to bring money?" The book asked

I slapped my face in realization. "You said you could give me fame, money, and power. So give me some money"

"Well about that....I may have lied a tiny bit"

I grabbed the book and slowly started tearing out one of its pages.

"OW OW STOP" it cried out and I stopped, "I can't give you money but I can help you sneak in"

I listened to the plan, it sounded difficult but it was worth the try.

I ran to the women at the booth and tried my best to sound panicked, "Ma'am there's a huge dumpster fire nearby!"

"Damn kids!"

She quickly zoomed out of the building and the book floated inside the booth and opened the gate for me. The train was about to leave so i quickly hopped in the farthest seat from the officers I could but also still being able to see them.

The plane started shaking violently, and I clinged onto the seat handles.

"Dont worry, this is a specialized plane. Mixed with a rocket" the book whispered mischievously

I gave the book a death glare as it could've warned me far before getting on. I checked out the window to try and get a sense of what's going on. The plane was now perpendicular to the ground with the tip of the plane facing up to the sky. The plane shot up quickly. Bringing with it a lot of shaking. I tried to steady myself, and after about a few seconds we were in space. I looked out the window and there was a lot of emptiness mix in with small specks of white. There was a bing sound and people began to unbuckle their seatbelts.

"Come on Jasmine, live a little" the book started floating from the lack of gravity

I unbuckle my seatbelt and I too started floating. I tried my best to stabilize myself but it didn't work. I was bumping into people left and right. One of the people I bumped into was the guy in the teal uniform back at my house.

"Oop- my bad...Wait a minute" He swiftly moved his body to face me, "Your from that house-"

I grabbed him arm and pulled him closer to me to caught him off guard.
"Listen here. If you know whats good for you, you'd keep quiet"

"Ok? Are you trying to threaten me or kiss me? Sorry to tell you but your not my type." He said in a joking manner. A look of disgust hit my face while he laughed. "You have some balls to threaten a force worker"

"Your a junior helper." I said pointing to a badge on his chest.

He quickly tried to remove the badge but failed, "Ok yes, but... i can arrest you!"

I looked down at the tool belt around his waist, "You don't have handcuffs"

"....screw you-" He flew to the window and took a seat, "You might want to sit down where about to enter Kinra"

I grabbed the book and sat down, leaving a space between me and the kid. I stared down the aisle when I suddenly heard a click sound and felt something around my left wrist.
