~3rd Person POV~
Hours have passed since Teal last saw Jasmine, and even they started to grow worried. Asahi and Fiadh burst through the hospital doors, with a mixture of shock and worry on their faces.
"Teal what happened?!" Asahi asked with a stern voice
Teal explained everything while they all stayed in the waiting room, hoping that Jasmine's ok. And after about an hour one of the nurses told them they could see her. The three of them all rushed into the room to find Jasmine laying perfectly still in her bed. They all stood in the doorway frozen, Fiadh slowly walked closer to the bed, shaking with each step. She lightly touched Jasmine's arm, and the arm twitched as it moved away.
"Jasmine!?"
"Yea...im alive..."
Asahi and Teal fully came into the room to see Jasmine's upper half of her face completely covered in bandages. The room fell silent as no one knew what to say. But luckily the doctor came in to explain everything.
"Miss Rogers has lost about 25% of the first two layers on the right side of her face. If Shadow would've gone for a bigger star or for longer he would've torn right through her muscles and possibly her skull." The doctor went over to Jasmine and she started to unravel the bandages. "Luckily with the help of Dr. Sanders was able to restore practically everything back to normal. Though it has left a few unhealable scars."
The doctor helped Jasmine sit up and she was right, Jasmine's face was back to normal instead of two very noticeable scars, one on the bridge of her nose and the other right under her right eye. The doctor and Asahi left the room to fill out some paperwork, leaving Teal, Jasmine and Fiadh alone.
"....So um, how you feeling?" Teal said awkwardly
"Shity-" Jasmine said as the events of earlier that night replayed in her head over and over. "I should've done something, I could've used the damn book but I froze..."
"I mean, you were fighting Shadow so-"
"Thats not the problem!" Jasmine yelled slamming a fist onto the desk next to her, "I'm the problem.... I need to connect more to the elements. So i can control them better"
"Well there's only one way to connect to the elements but its really dangerous and you need permission" Fiadh explained
"Fine, lets ask Asahi easy"
"That's not what I meant. You need the approval from one of the Heads of Elements"
Jasmine made a confused face, "The hell is that?"
"They are six of the strongest people in Kinra. Each member represents a different element." Fiadh said cheerfully holding herself back a little from going on a full rant
"Ok where are they? Lets go to them and ask for permission"
"Their location is secret, though I wouldn't be surprised if Fiadh somehow knew. But even then you can't just walk up to them and ask, they send out letters to invite you to go. But that happens only once a year." Teal said sitting down on and extra chair that was in the room
"Ok when is the next time they're doing it?"
"Let's see it's September, so....the next ones are in April."
"I am not waiting that long. There has to be something i can do now!"
After Asahi finished the paperwork he handed them to the doctor. Then walked off and pulled out his phone.
"Hello....Is this Dr. Fhinn Sanders?"
It took a while before a tired voice answered, "Ah yes hello hello...who's this?"
