"No matter how bad your heart is broken
the world doesn't stop for your grief."

The Sully family was constantly a loud and disruptive household but standing in front of their pod now, it doesn't seem that loud nor disruptive at a-
"Fuck you, Neteyam, for a fact I know that Ao' nung and his ugly friends are mocking us right now and you don't want to do anything about it?" I hear Lo'ak's screechy voice shout from inside the pod. Lo'ak and Neteyam were fighting again. I sigh and knock on the trunk of the tree to get someone's attention.
"You dad doesn't want us to get into anymore trouble, just try to ignore them." Neteyam retaliates, both of them haven't heard my knock or their purposely ignoring it.
"Hello? Could I see Neteyam?" I yell from the entrance of their pod, Neteyams name still rolling off of my tongue weirdly. I knew this would be awkward as hell but I had to do fulfill my punishment before my father actually kicks me out of the house. I hear crashing before Neteyam pops his head out of the entrance and mets my eyes. I flinch and back away, damn he looked better than I've ever seen him.
"Oh, Kallo, what are you doing here" Lo'ak questions from behind him. I force a smile and peer inside of their pod to see if Tuk and Kiri are available for training. I don't see them, or Jake and Neytiri. Neteyam covers my view and takes a step closer to me.
"So, why are you here?" He asks, he seems a bit frigid but I try to not pay any mind to it. After all once I get these people to ride a Llu, i'm out of here.
"Father sent me to teach the kids how to ride an Llu," I reply calmly, letting no emotion slip past me. Neteyam frowns and shakes his head.
"Might have to wait an hour or so, Kiri and Tuk have gone to play with some fishes in the reef." He says, I nod.
"Right, well I don't have much of a choice with this but then I'll just have to teach you two first and do Kiri and Tuk later." I answer quickly, I had to make sure I looked like I was teaching them so father wouldn't get mad again. Lo'ak raises a brow and glances behind me.
"No, Tsireya isn't here, she and Ao' nung have gone to a meeting with my mother and father." I say nonchalantly, like it didn't effect me at all. Lo'ak frowns and stares at me.
"So then why aren't you there" He asks, I glance at the floor before rising my head up and clearing my throat.
"Um, They didn't need me this time" I bite my lips and turn around.
"Follow me, I'll show you to the place where wild Llu's are most found." I intruct.

"No! no, no!" I frustratedly yell.
"You have to hold on to them with your legs, hook your legs around their bodies so you don't just slide off of them in the water!" I groan, for the fifth time in 2 minutes. I was going to rip my hair out strand by strand at any point now.
"Okay, jesus!" Lo'ak complains, he gets back onto the Llu, makes the bond and hooks his legs around it. I relax my shoulders seeing him finally listen to me. Neteyam watches from behind me, he hasn't really said a word. I watch Lo'ak as he successfully rides his Llu afar from the shore. I smile and turn around to see Neteyam.
"Now, you" I state, my words coming out ruder than I intended.
"As the older brother, I really hope you will do better" I say almost begging. He only nods and makes a bond with the same Llu as he did before. He slides onto the Llu's back and hooks his legs around it's body. His body moves and all his muscles flex, he leans forward and whispers something into the Llu's ear before taking off. Well, easier than I expected.
"Great, okay, just leave me alone then" I shout, no one responding - except for my own Llu who was floating obediently next to me. I sigh and ride my Llu back to shore.
"So, how was it?" I ask Reya, when I arrive home. She sighs and plops onto the bed. I stroke her hair and remove her hair pieces out of her hair.
"Sully's and you are being chased by the sky people, since they've arrived" Tsireya speaks but instantly covers her mouth, I freeze. The sky people? me? She notices my face and quickly sits up, holding both my arms. Her faces are weird, why does she look scared of me?
"But, It's not to bad, you know we have...you to.." She speaks but immediately stops. The world goes quiet. I place a hand near my neck and ear, okay good I was still alive. Every meeting she went to, every time she saw the Sully's and me, she knew.
"Tsireya" She flinches at my harsh tone. I never call her Tsireya, not unless I'm mad at her or in a serious situation. In this moment I think it's both.
"Do not, do not. Please don't tell me you knew this entire time" My voice is trembling, but I hold my grating tone. She removes her hands from my arms and runs out of the room, her footsteps are heard rushed into Ao' nungs room. I blankly stare at the bed where Tsireya, the person I loved the most in the entire world, the person I solely lived, breathed, ate and laughed to lie to my face everyday. About the one thing I feared, cried, lost and found my family in. The sky people.
Hundreds and thousands of seconds past by before I actually start to think again.
