"No matter how bad your heart is broken

the world doesn't stop for your grief."

When I arrive back at home I'm ignoring all my family members except for my grandmother, I decided this week I'd spend it strictly on finding out what I had to do with the sky people and building my mental health back to what it was before It came crumbling down. Tsireya tries to start small conversations with me but I don't concern myself with her and walk away, even in our room I pretend she doesn't exist at all. I can tell she's guilty and upset but it was nowhere to how horrible I had felt yesterday.

I finish feeding my Llu and make my way back down town to find Zados, he always knew something about someone so I was hoping I could start by asking him. The streets and waters are crowded with turquoise coloured skin and glimmering sea shells. I slip through the crowds until I reach the entrance frame of the shore and heave myself inside. Grunting I wipe my arms and legs from the non existent germs, I walk up to the register and jump onto to the desk. A note slips and drops onto the ground below me, I frown and pick it up unravelling the crumpled note.

"Meet me at the shore I just want a talk, you know who I am."

Was written with messy handwriting on the small piece of paper. I was sure who wrote this and I was sure they weren't this stupid, until now.

"Zados?! Zados?! Where are you?" I yell from the register, I run around the store from basement to top floor looking for Zados. I couldn't find a trace of him, nor a anyone taking care of the unsupervised store. I scream in frustration shoving the note in my chest piece before running out of the store, turning the open sign to closed.

I run as fast as my feet can take me to the beach, when I reach the sand I can tell I'm already too late. I spot Tsireya, Lo'ak, Rotxo, Ao'nung, Kiri and Tuk standing in a small circle. I spot Zado's tall figure from where I was standing. I groan loudly once again and run over.

"I told you that I'm not doing anything to her! She had too much alcohol!" I hear Zados defending, Neteyam shoves his shoulders which almost sends Zados falling. Zados grips his jaw and grips onto Neteyam's neck, Neteyam chokes and coughs. My eyes widen as I rush over to Neteyams aid.

"Stop! stop! Zados what on earth are you doing?!" I yell, trying desperately to pull his fingers off of Neteyams neck. Zados cringes and lets go of his neck, I push them apart. I hear Tsireya trying to explain something to next to me but I ignore her.

"What are you guys fighting about?" I breath angrily hitting Zados's chest, he knew better to fight someone 2 years younger than him. Neteyam holds onto my hand with both his hands.

"Do you remember that night where your father found you passed out in the store?" He starts, I nod and but keep my eyes on Zados. He only stares at me with guilty eyes. I take a deep breath in a look over to Neteyam.

"You didn't pass out because of the alcohol you passed out because of Zados!" He yells, making his way to Zados again. Ao' nung steps in to stop Neteyam from throwing any punches. I turn and stare at Zados.

"What does he mean?" I say with a steady but deadly tone, Zados rubs his face with his hands.

"I said, what does he mean Zados?" I yell, pressing a finger in his chest. Neteyam holds my shoulder making me face him.

"I mean that Zado's drugged you to take advantage of you, is what I meant" He growls, grabbing Zados's arm. Please don't be true, Please don't be true.

"i'm sorry." I hear Zados whimper from behind me. Tsireya and Kiri gasps and Rotxo shakes his head.

Oh eywa? Why?

I shut my eyes closed and listen as Neteyam's fist collides with Zados's nose with a nasty crunch. I hold my head and run from the shore, I run but my legs are so sore, I ignore the screaming from behind me.

People can go from people you know, to people you don't.

I rush home and slam the door behind me, and again I was here and again I was feeling sick at heart and wanting to escape from everything and everyone. Zados was one of the people I trusted most and loved so dearly. All the crushing, burning and hurting was so boring and happening so frequently to the the same old people I'd trusted. It didn't matter because the past doesn't matter anymore, it's just trusting myself from now on.

The morning sun rises from the clouds and shines brightly above me, after 10 seconds i'm up and running. I feed the Llu's, help my neighbours carry their food to the hall for a meeting with father and I'm back at home on my bed thinking.

"Kallo, come down for some food" My mother yells from downstairs, I sigh and push myself from the bed, walking downstairs. Tsireya and mum sits down on the ground skinning the peel off of a fruit and cutting it, placing it on a plate.

"Sit down, we shall talk" My mother speaks softly, patting down a spot next to her. I nod and sit down with my knees to my chest. I awkwardly reach for a piece of fruit, Tsireya places the plate closer to me. I give her a weak smile and eat.

"Hectic week, huh?" Mother says her eyes not leaving the fruit in her hands. I nod and press my lips together, will she judge me or will she finally comfort me?

"Look, ma, I need more information on my past, if I don't I'll be living my life as a lie" I finally crack, placing my knees down.

A/N: did everyone hear about the Selena Gomez and Hailey Baldwin/Bieber drama? In honor of being #teamselena, I thought I'd use one of her songs lines in the story, it fits quite well I think. By the way let me know if you guys want a sad ending or a happy ending, i planned this story to have a sad ending but I might change my mind. The plot is twisting so stick along. Thanks for reading and see you next week.
