Annabeth was just going out for a walk, after a nice morning of designing new temples for olympus, when she wandered into a slightly charred grove. The trees looked like they were... talking? She saw Rachel sitting in the middle, painting a picture of Percy, Zeus, and Poseidon battling a large red being, using smoke-based attacks. She saw me, and I saw a familiar green mist.

"The seven united once again, facing the universe's possible end. Enemies allied alone prevail, facing an evil's corrupting veil." Annabeth thought that the veil was the smoke. Before she could interpret them the conch horn sounded, signaling a monster attack.

People were yelling "GIANTS!!" and sure enough, Polybotes and Phorphyron were attacking. They were wearing armor with a strange symbol, and Phorphyron yelled, "DEATH TO THE DEMIGODS!! LORD END WILL REIGN SUPREME!!" A few people were like, "Heh?" "Lord?" "Who are you ending??" "Gods of olympus, these demigod scum. YOU WILL BE DEFEATED BY THE MOST POWERFUL OF THE GIGANTE BIG 3!!" Said Polybotes. Then, he sent out the basilisks. Annabeth was really scared. She wanted a god, and fast. Suddenly, something unprecedented happened.

They were being bound by stone. "WHAT?!?! MOTHER GAEA! STOP THIS MADNESS!!" Phorphyron yelled. Polybotes was shrieking like a little girl. Then, they were silenced as the earth pulled them under. We saw a geyser of golden powder shoot up. And all of the hair-weapons that they had. A woman's voice came up from the earth. "You freed me of the corruption that tainted my mind. The least I can do is defend your camp. Another thing, your exiled hero was possessed by a malevolent spirit, working for an evil protogenos. End, the destroyer." The air got colder. The shadows grew larger. I had a sudden urge to turn around and throttle Katie.
