Masyado akong naging masaya sa kadahilanang natupad ang hiling ko na mahanap ni Dion, umabot pa sa puntong muntik kong makalimutan na magpakita sa mga Larson. I mean if it was totally up to me, didiretso ako ng uwi sa Regalia kasama siya but then again, kailangan kong ayusin ang gusot na ginawa ng pinsan ko. I heard from Dion that the marquis made the smart decision to not alert the imperial family by dispatching the marquisate knights for a search party. However, that was also the reason why they had a hard time tracking me down. Hindi ko naman sila sinisisi sa ginawa nilang desisyon. As a matter of fact nagpapa-salamat pa ako dahil it's a good thing that the secret of Gwen's identity is still safe from the emperor. Honestly, I've been through more than enough this week alone already. Ayoko naman na madagdagan agad-agad. I genuinely need to catch a break from all this drama. Who knew leading a second life would be so... stressful and that's putting it lightly. Shout out na lang sa lahat ng isekai manhwa na nabasa ko, they really made it seem so easy. Biggest understatement of the century.

Pinag-isipan kong mabuti ang mga susunod kong hakbang from this point on and the only solution I could think of is to have the Larson family meet GD. Kampante naman ako sa desisyong ito dahil alam ko namang they are on my side. Kung hindi, edi sana matagal na ako na-etsapwera or worse, na-chugi pero hindi naman. Isa pa, it'll be good for the organization if GD will start trying to form connections from outside the underworld and within the nobility. It just makes sense since his purpose is to expand his influence and to be able to take over the whole underworld system. I won't lie, I had a hard time trying to convince GD to agree na sumama sa'min para magpakilala sa mga Larson. It ultimately became a lengthy debate. Taking into consideration his apprehension and skeptic nature against people especially one within nobility but I won in the end because duh?! It's me.

With everything that's happening, kasama ko nga si Dion pero pakiramdam ko wala kaming time para mag-usap or kung nag-usap man small talk lang at walang significant topic. I'm sure he's busy enough as it is with the town restoration but here he is. Nakuha pang unahin ako at ang family drama na kinasasangkutan ko. Fortunately, he's very patient with me and goes along with everything with little to no resistance. He doesn't even ask questions and trust me to deal with things. Dion seems to be genuinely satisfied with the fact that I'm safe by his side. Furthermore, I already promised na uuwi ako kasama niya after I sort this all out, that alone is enough for him.

"My little sister!" Sofiane exclaims as she sprints from across the room, reaching me in record time just to envelope me into a tight embrace, "Thank goodness you're back. Hindi ko mapapatawad ang sarili ko kung may masamang nangyari sa'yo. Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere? How did those miscreants treat you? Dear heavens, you look like you've lost weight! Have you gotten pale?"

It hasn't even been a full minute since I stepped in the mansion and I'm already bombarded with questions. I'm pretty sure she's exaggerating because as far as I'm concerned, I still look the same as ever. I haven't been gone for that long naman. Nevertheless, it doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the concern. Ni hindi nga pinansin ni Sofiane ang mga kasama ko sa sobrang pag-aalala sa'kin. Nakita ko pa si Sevi na nakasunod sa kanya. He and I simply recognized each other's presence with a nod of recognition. I'm guessing he also has things he wants to tell me but that's reserved for another time. I do have a lot on my plate and it only seems to grow in portions ever since I got here.

Matapos naming humiwalay sa yakap; I placed my hands on her shoulders, "Sofi, thank you for worrying about me. As you can see, I'm alright. Moreover, I believe we still have a lot to discuss... preferably with the marquis present."

She sighs with the emotions ranging from disappointment of not being able to talk to the sister she adores and then there's determination shining through, "Right..." casting a wary glance at my companions, especially at GD tutal siya naman ang bagong mukha sa aming lahat dito.
